Question about Motorcycles
My atv idles good but wont go
Many ATVs have an automatic transmisson that is most often powered by a belt similar to those used under the hood of a car or those that drive the rear wheel of modern Harley motorcycles. This belt may news to be replaced. Another thing to check is the quality of the fluid in the transmission. If this fluid is low/old/burnt your ATV may exhibit the problems you mention. Calling a local dealer that sells/services your make of ATV most often will answer a question. As to when the belt for the transmission needs to be replaced in cases where they use them. For one that uses a clutch, you may need to replace your clutch pack as they can go out similar to those in a car. I wish you the best of luck
