No oil pan plug, it is a sump system. Just find the oil tank, drain it, change the filter.

SOURCE: dead battery on 2007 ultra classic

Your battery is located under the seat. "Always" disconnect negative first, as to lower the risk of grounding your screwdriver when moving to the positive cable. When reconnecting do "Positive" first, for the same reasons discribed. Dresser batteries are the largest an heaviest so it's just a matter of finding a good place to lift after it's disconnected. Also, It may be wise to have your charging system checked if you ride this bike all the time, as your battery should have lasted longer.

How to replace an oil pan gasket on a toyota corrolla 2007?

remove anything in the way of the oil pan that won`t allow it to be lowered. drain the oil, then remove the oil pan holding bolts and you might have to hit the oil pan to get it loose and lower the pan. clean surfaces on the motor and oil pan of gasket material and oil on the gasket matting surfaces install new gasket to pan and install. torque the bolts to 10ft lbs torque I think or until the bolts are tight but the gasket is not being pushed out from between two surfaces.

Wanted to change oil on 99 Ultra Classic. Removed what I thought was oil drain plug (located on bottom of engine, right side, near back of flat finned bottom). Oil drained, but not engine oil...What did...

On your Ultra, the oil pan is on the bottom of the transmission. If you pull the oil dipstick, you'll see that it goes down into the pan located under the transmission. The engine oil drain is the drain plug nearest the left front of the pan or in the middle of the pan. If the bike is on the side stand when your drain the oil, I'd pull the plug in the front so that all the oil comes out. If you pull the one in the middle, you must stand the bike up straight to get all the oil out. The transmission drain appears to be the pipe plug in the front of the oil pan. Go to and pull up this drawing. It will show you the pan and the gasket. Notice the gasket closely, the hole down through the front of the pan looks like it goes to the transmission and the other plugs look like they are for engine oil. The plug you pulled out is the drain for the cam chest, I think. I'm not a Twin Cam mechanic but I'm pretty sure that I'm right about that particular plug. You probably didn't get any more than a couple of ounces of oil out of that area.

Good luck

Where do I find the oil drain plug on a 1999 ultra classic

the oil drain plug for the motor oil is the one on the front of the oil pan that is under the transmission, it faces the front of the bike and is a 5/8 head. the one that faces down on the right side of the pan drains the transmission. the primary drain plug faces the left side under the derby cover,it is a #40 torqx wrench.

I have a 2000 Electra Glide that leaks oil where the cases are joined. Anyone else have this issue? Worth repairing?

Hi Goulets, if it's leaking from the case seams aside from splitting the cases and resealing them is to check the torque on the case bolts 1/4" bolts/nuts 10 ft lbs. 5/16" bolts/nuts 20 ft lbs. for all other leaks the usual suspects are:
1. Loose parts.
2. Imperfect seal at gaskets, push rod covers, washers ect.
3. Restricted oil return line to oil tank/pan.
4. Restricted breather hose to air cleaner.
5. Restricted oil filter.
6. Oil tank/pan overfilled.
7. Bottom rocker housing gasket installed upside down.
Good luck and have nice day.
