Question about 2005 Yamaha FJR 1300
The bike has just been into dealers who say that neither they or yamaha are unable to solve the problem of when i try and ride at 30mph the bike chugs and i have to keep in a low gear 1st or 2nd they have checked all the bikes settings and it is showing no fault but the fault persist
The engine needs fuel, air, compression and spark to run. They checked and say the spark is good. Assuming the air filter is not plugged and the compression is good, that takes us back to fuel. They checked the fuel pump and related electrics and say all is okay. B.S. it's okay. You still can't ride.
I would take it back to the dealer, (or a different one if you wish), and have them replace the injectors. If the problem ain't electric then it must be mechanical. Ask how to contact the Yamaha regional manager. I would bet the dealer has never spoken to him. If the manager is of no help ask him for a contact name and number at Yamaha Motor Corporation, USA. If they can design and build it then they CAN fix it. Don't accept "we can't fix it" as an answer.
