The engine needs fuel, air, compression and spark to run. They checked and say the spark is good. Assuming the air filter is not plugged and the compression is good, that takes us back to fuel. They checked the fuel pump and related electrics and say all is okay. B.S. it's okay. You still can't ride.

I would take it back to the dealer, (or a different one if you wish), and have them replace the injectors. If the problem ain't electric then it must be mechanical. Ask how to contact the Yamaha regional manager. I would bet the dealer has never spoken to him. If the manager is of no help ask him for a contact name and number at Yamaha Motor Corporation, USA. If they can design and build it then they CAN fix it. Don't accept "we can't fix it" as an answer.

Yamaha fjr 1300 2005 battery full will not start rattling noise near battery when starter button is depressed.

I experienced the same symptoms on my 2006 fjr 1300. I thought my batterty was fully charged, but when i connected a volt-meter to the battery while trying to start I noticed that the voltage fell a lot. That indicates that the battery is damaged and has low capacity although it has the right voltage. I then tried to connect jumper cables between the mc and the battery of a running car. Then the mc started without any problem. So.... my battery, and probably yours is damaged and needs to be replaced.

I would be looking again at the cam chain tensioner. I have replaced 2 on my 05 so far and it was doing the same thing. the other known problem for noise in the engine like that is the valve guides are know to wear prematurely on 05's and the 03 and 04. Yamaha knows about the problem and will fix it under a one time warranty even if you do not have the extended warranty on the bike. Make sure you talk to the dealer about premature valve guide wear.
