Question about 1998 Honda CBR 600 F(3)W

Can't roll freely in neutral!!

I'm a new rider and just bought my beginners bike (98 Honda CBR 600 F3). Sometimes when I put my bike in neutral it won't roll freely. Also, at times if I'm completely of the throttle it feels like my brakes are trying to engage (my bike reacts as if I'm lightly on the brake). I just had the calipers rebuilt, the brake system flushed, and new pads. I don't know if these shops are taking advantage of me cause I'm a chick and don't know any better or what the hell the problem is but I definitely don't want to find myself in a dangerous situation if somehow my brakes are engaging.......I'm so confused!!!

I have an 04' 600RR..I've notice even in Neutral, it's hard to roll. It's possibly just the nature of the bike. Other than that, check your rear brake lever and make sure it's free.

Also, make sure that your chain is lubed and your wheel bearings are lubed. I'm kind of glad it's like that, cause at 160mph, it's hard enough to slow down.

I HAVE A 98 HONDA CBR 600 F3 I CHANGE THE STATOR AND CHANGED THE RECTIFIER AND I STILL DRAINS MY BATTERY QUICK I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO NO PLEASE HELP

put a volt meter across the battery, engine stopped must be over 12v.
rev the engine to 3-4000 should rise to about 14v, this will show the charge system is working
Some batteries only last 12 months or so. if it is a couple of years old buy a new one, the gel ones seem to last longer

Is a honda 600f 1 down 5 up or 1 up 5 down for gears

If it is stock and aftermarket rearsets have not been installed then it is one down and five up. However, some riders like to reverse the pattern. So look at your shifter and see if it is stock on not. Also you can tell by shifting. Neutral is between first and second. find neutral - bike can be rolled without holding in the clutch (a little movement back and fourth can really ease your shifing efforts). the shift down, if you can only shift down once then you have the first gear. if you can shift more than once then first gear is up.
