Is the gas coming out from the injector itself? If so remove the fuel rail and check/replace injector o-rings. Loss of fuel pressure could cause power loss.
Say exactly were this spitting happens.
are you saying its leakin
or did you look then spark plug hole to see that. please do say.
from the fuel injection< ?

There's no such thing as a timing belt diagram.
Do you mean to say the "Procedure" for changing a timing belt in a 92 Prelude?
By asking such a question I can only interpret it as a clear indication that you've never changed a timing belt before.
If this is true, then you don't want to start out or practice on your own car.
Get the car to a pro and have the job done right.
If not true (and you've changed timing belt's in the past)
Then give me the engine size and I'll post the:
"PROCEDURE" for changing the belt in a few hours.

theres a lil slot on the lower left face plate of the dash.. Insert Ignition key or suitable tool (very small screwdriver) and hold for a few seconds.. this will reset the mileage counter and turn off the oil lamp.. Thankx

I woulldn't worry about that fuel too much. Let me know if you have done anything to the motor, i.e., cleaned the spark plugs, checked the oil, water/radiator fluid level...corrosion on the battery. What does it sound like when you try to start it?
They make products to add to the gas...fuel stabilizer for example.

I am a girl I really do not know how to do any of those things.the mechnics keeps giving me the run around. They say it is the fuel injection. i had it repaired the car is still losing power and spitting out gas. 1992 honda prelude. please help
My car is a 92 Honha prelude 2.2 engine. losing power spitting out gas
spitting where. do say. be exact. and dont drive it or park in doors. why not find a ASE ceritfed mech. and get him to fix it. its not a run around, get a real mech that knows his ropes, id he run an injector balance test? if not find a new mech. but again injectors only spit 2 ways wrong, and you never said which way, 1: in the combustion chambers, or all over top of engine, one 3 way is to leak out exhaust manifold flange. but is really #1
you do know that gas burns right and can be very dangerous, for sure if you have any type of injecrtor leakage.
so back to square 1 , spitting where.??????????
