    Hey!!

    Thanks for your answer.

Awfull to read what you were saying, but finally the shifter comes in contact with the gearbox, I had to increase the height to accomodate new boots.

Al I did is buff 1/8 inch to give it the space it needed and all is fine.

    Cheers!!!!

You have a bent shift fork. The repair means taking the engine out of the frame then removing the top end, removing the flywheel and electrics, removing the clutch , shift mechanism and kick starter and a few other parts. THEN you are ready to split the gearbox to remove the gears and then the bent shift fork. Next you get to put it all back together. This is a pretty big job for the home mechanic.

You will need an impact driver, flywheel puller, case splitter and torque wrench plus the normal screwdriver, pliers, etc.. Alternate to the special tools is taking it to the dealer and say "Fix it".
I normally tell people to take it to the shop just so they don't get into such an involved project.

Please rate this answer, (even though it's not what you wanted to hear). :-)

1995 Jeep Wrangler Auto Trans 1st to 2nd shift acts like it goes into neutral what could the problem be

When was the last time the transmission fluid and filter changed? I would have that serviced first. If it is an electronic transmission, the line pressure might also have to be reset.

2007 Honda CRF 230-Not shifting out of 1st gear

I have a feeling you broke a yoke, That bike is fairly new, and I don't think the tranny is trashed yet, probably just something in there slipped off. I don't know how hard it is to get to the gearbox, but you have to go in there and find out. I couldn't find any complaints about it in the forums, supposed to be a nice bike. Hope this helps.

My automatic escort will not shift out of first gear. I will drive in first gear, slip it into neutral, then back into drive, and will get second gear for about five seconds. Any ideas?

Try replacing Speed sensor.I have 95 Escort that while driving for about 20 miles would shift into low gear and not shift back into higher gears. After letting it sit for awhile it would drive fine for about 20 miles then do the same thing.Had the speed sensor replaced and works fine now.

When I shift from second gear to first, it just slips to neutral

You have a bent shift fork not engaging the slider gear properly into 1st gear. The engine will need to come out of the bike. Remove the top end, the flywheel and electrics, the clutch, shift mechanism and kick starter and a few other parts. THEN you are ready to split the gearbox to get to the crankshaft, gears and shift forks.

You will need an impact driver, flywheel puller, case splitter, torque wrench and factory service manual, plus the normal screwdriver, pliers, etc.. Alternate to the special tools is taking it to the dealer and say "Fix it". I normally tell people to take it to the shop just so they don't get into such an involved project and they have a knowing eye working on the engine.

Crf 70 want go into any gear

Sounds like a shift fork is bent. This is a classic symptom. It is best to let the shop do the repair.
