Question about 1992 Suzuki GSX 600 F (Katana)
I have a 1992 Suzuki Katana 600 and the brake light does not work. What could be the problem and can it easy to fix? Also looking for a free owners manual for that perticular bike.
I have the same motorcycle and had the same problem.
In my case the connector behind the back light unit (unter the buddyseat) caused the problem (probably because it was a little rusty). 1. Remove the buddy seat 2. Try to cut true those three wires and connect them again, not using the white, standard connector. 3. Try if the brake light works.
If all the other lights on your motorcycle work fine, the fuse is okay. The brake light is on the same fuse as some other signal lights.
You probably have the same problem considering both the brakes don't light up, so the brake light switches are probably okay.

Replace bulb, clean contacts, make sure all bulbs on the bike work and are the correct type..
