Question about 2005 Honda CRF 250 R
If u wanna save some trouble, dont run it before you rebuild it. You risk the entire engine alot more if you do. Its a high performance engine that holds only enough oil to keep it lubed properly, any less than the correct amount will cause traumatic wear on the bike extremely fast. Once parts start to fail inside the engine there no stopping them. Slowing it down with oil now is about all you can do but it will eventually tear itself apart from the inside out.
