I have a 2001 v92c delux with the same problem. Yesterday I losened the gas cap and drove around for 3 hours. I just loosened it a little bit so that it would vent and fresh air could circulate more. The hesitation problems I was having DID NOT occur. I didn't get a chance to try it again to today. Someone else please try this to see if it works. Let me know how it goes so that i know I'm not going crazy.

I just upgraded my stock bike with Lloyd's Torque Tubes and Bassanni turn outs exhaust. I am noticing all positives except for MPG. Is there anything that needs to be done to the fuel system?

Hi,Marshall you may want to look into getting a "fuel Tuner" the following tips are low cost easy to apply/install and guaranteed to give you better gas mileage and a smoother running bike. The average motorcycle gets 35-40 MPG. saving .2 gallon of gas could save you a 6-mile walk. 125cc scooters have been known to get 115 plus MPG
1. Proper tire inflation as per MFG. specifications wheels should be balanced and spokes tight.
2. Oil and coolant levels maintained at full marks, low levels produce excessive heat that causes the engine to work harder and reduces efficiency.
3. Keep extra weight to a minimum.
4. Take off from a dead stop should be smooth and easy throttle applied avoid excessive throttle snaps.
5. Smaller windshields get better MPH than large ones, wind resistance increases as a square of the speed at which you're traveling. So, for example, at 70 mph, wind resistance is double what it is at 50 mph (70 squared is almost twice as much as 50 squared). That will dramatically reduce your mileage. Keep that in mind while biking.
6. Keep idle time to a bare minimum or turn off the engine.
7. Re-jet carburetor with a smaller main and mid-range jet.
8. Keep chain/belt properly adjusted.
9. Avoid quick braking, hasty acceleration, high-speed driving, try driving the speed limit and keep a constant speed.
10. On long trips use freeways or flat straight stretches of highways rather than city or rural routes avoid hills and mountains when possible.
11. Keep your engine clean, dirt and grease/oil hold in heat.
12. A full-face helmet is more aerodynamic than other types of helmets. Any other clothing that decreases your aerodynamic should be reconsidered.
13. Any unnecessary bling on your bike is going to decrease fuel efficiency.
14. Use high-quality fuel using low-quality fuel can cause sludge in your fuel injectors.
15. Keep warm up time to a minimum get off the choke ASAP.
16. Motorcycles run best when their engines are maintained, and that includes making sure the air filter is clean, the spark plugs are fresh, the fuel filter is free, and the timing/valves are adjusted.

I have a 1999 dodge ceruis. I quit running going down the highway at 70 mph. It was very low of oil. Do the have a ciser shut down system

You are fortunate that the engine still cranks. If it overheated when it shut down it is possible that some of the electrical components may have been burned out.

And if you did permanent damage it is possible that now the engine is not cranking fast enough to start.

Good luck.

F350 diesel sputtering

Sounds like the throttle body needs a good cleaning. Remove the air hose going to the throttle boy, have a look inside if it looks really dirty, black etc, on the front, the back will be much worse. Remove it, clean it, and re-install it. Lots of videos on you-tube showing you how.

Hesitation while at same rpm for to long, highway, also during acceleration making popping noise and hesitant.

First thing I would do is to run a Can of Sea Foam through your Engine but it appears that it more than likely that you are dealing with a TPS issue. There are numerous tests that you can perform but cleaning the Injection system will give you a green light to go further and it will benefit you in the long run even if it does not fix the problem.

Additionally, The Fuel Filter MAY be an issue, Replace with a WIX and not a FRAM... You get what you pay for and you will be happy with the Wix

2002 regal would slow down going up hills then

the catalytic converter most likely is no the sorurce of the problem, older design bead type Cat converters used to plug, but it is very rare on the newer ceramic honeycomb cats, u need to have the electronic engine control tested, are u getting a check engije light? if not has the fuel filter been replaced every 30,000 miles? also a part called the Mass Airflow sensor can cause these symptoms as well as igntion system problems.
