Try putting on the back piece. Some of these TVs have a circuit protection system that will not deactivate with the back open. (It is like an old circuit breaker with the fuse out.)
Power Supply board is dead.Replaced the power supply board will solved this problems.Tries websites Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish power supply for the replacement.
Got the same problem with my second TX-S3082WH Slimfit...the first had the same problem...it was deemed unrepairable and I was advised to return it to Circuit City...now a year and five months later Samsung support has been less than helpful as I am 5 months out of warranty...don't know what I'm going to do...any advice would be appreciated
Horizontal output transistor is shorted,caused by bad flyback
transformer.If you want to pursue the repair,please give the
