Question about 1992 kawasaki VN 750 Vulcan
My Vulcan will completely shut off while I'm riding. I completely charged the battery and cleaned all of the connectors. Once it shuts off, it won't start (its like there is no power getting to the starter) until I completely charge the battery again. Is this something I can fix realively easy on my own? Are there any guides about this problem? Thanks.
It sounds like you are running out of battery, and that is why the bike is quitting.
Have you checked the charging?
Check the battery voltage with a meter after you have charged it. should be 13.5 volts or so. Start the bike, you may have lost a little but the voltage should increase as you watch the volt meter, rev the bike, Any increase?
If there is no increase or if it is decreasing in voltage then I would suspect you charging system.
Hope this is of some help.
