Question about Yamaha FZS 1000 Fazer Motorcycles

1 Answer

I have a 2001 Yamaha FZ1. The cooling system seems to be operating properly, but on occasion, it makes a hot bubbleing sound like the insides are boiling. What is the issue and what needs to be replaced?

Possibly the fan relay or the fan. A sticking thermostat is also a possibility.

Why my 2001 Yamaha fz1 won't start since it cut off out of nowhere while I was riding but I need a cam chain tensioner.

Hi, Dedric you may indeed have a loose cam sprocket and it jumped out of time the following applies to carbureted also fuel injected models and the usual suspects are:
1. Severely discharged or a damaged battery, should have 12.5 volts or better and be able to pass a load test if necessary.
2. Failed alternator/generator and or voltage regulator.
3. Loose or corroded battery terminals and or cables especially the "NEGATIVE" cable, look for loose, corroded, or broken connectors inside the cable harness at "BOTH" ends.
4. Failed main circuit breaker or ignition switch, check for loose connections and continuity.
5. Failed system and or ignition relay, check for continuity.
6. Failed ignition coil, ignition/electronic module.
7. Failed CKP, CPS, CMP, MAP, TPS, or BAS sensor, corroded, loose or broken wire connector pins/sockets.
8. Throttle cables and or idle speed improperly adjusted hot idle speed should be 950 RPM to 1000 RPM.
9. Air/fuel mixture screw improperly adjusted.
10. Water or dirt in the fuel system, carburetor or filter.
11. Restricted, blocked or kinked fuel line.
12. Fuel tank empty.
13. The gas cap is not venting properly or fuel tank venting system blocked.
14. A failed fuel pump, pressure regulator and or fuel injectors.
15. Vacuum line from intake manifold to petcock broken, cracked, or not attached, carburetor vent line plugged.
16. Needle and seat stuck closed in the float bowl.

My hyundai verna 1.5 liters 2001 has a overheating problem with bubbels in the radiator

Question: With the engine cold and the radiator cap removed, do bubbles immediately apprear in the coolant in the radiator when the engine is started? If so, you have a combustion chamber leak into the cooling system inside the engine (blown head gasket, cracked head/cylinder block, etc).
If there are no bubbles immediately, and the bubbles only appear after the engine is HOT, then it may be a leaky head gasket, a sticking thermostat (closed) or restriction in the radiator core or water pump not pumping.

Have a qualified/certified Hyundai Service Technician properly diagnose this issue.

2001 ford escort zx2 has no heat. Blower OK, AC fine. I did notice the temp guage fluctuates quite a bit. When I select full hot, will get warm (NOT hot) air for about 30 sec. then it blows cold. Could...

It is much more likely you are low on coolant or you have an air bubble trapped in the cooling system. You should bleed the cooling system to get any trapped air out and make sure it is full of coolant.
