I have a kx250f and i was wondering wat precautions i should take and is therea certain way i should do it

Take some duct tape and put it around the shape of the new port opening. Now put on a second layer of duct tape. This does two things. First it outlines the size and shape of the revised port, and second when the rotary grinder skips out of the port, (as it is going to do a bunch of times), the grinder bit won't nick up the cylinder wall.

The only polishing needed is on the face of the new port area. Give the burned gas a smooth exit into the exhaust pipe. Don't go too extreme on the changes. Too much and you loose performance. This is the voice of experience talking.

    yes never open the top part of exhaust port cause will loose compression if do so. same for intake runners just smooth ex / in channels

    forgot to ask is cyl jug within service spec to warrant the work

My oven hood has developed small rust colored spots on it. It is barely 5 yrs old and is stainless steel. I'm wondering what it is from and how to clean it without damaging it.

Your oven hood is "ferritic" stainless steel. Simply put it has iron in the alloy, and the appearing spots are rust. Use DeBruce Polish to remove the corrosion and "PACIFY" the surface. DeBruce Polish is non-toxic, odorless and non-abrasive. This multi - surface cleaner also works wonders on glass cook tops, chrome, polished granite, marble, fiberglass and more. Scratches on lenses

The following is a solution I have tried myself and it works. There is a product called DURAGLIT that is used for polishing Brass etc. this product comes in a tin and contains wadding that is soaked with the substance of a very minor scouring polish. It is good for glass as well as plastic. You can also use BRASSO another polisher. Also another product avaiable is Jewelers Rouge, a polishing wax used by jewelers for polishing Gold etc. In the past i have also used Tooth Paste. It is abrasive but only certain types of tooth paste will do the job. Good Luck. George

Check to see what the code is,It will probably be a pending code. Let me know wat the code is. It could be low oil or low oil pressure.

You can't actually put one inside however you can add one either by USB or Firewire ports. Therea are many USB hard drives out there, you simply plug into the relevant "Port"and use as normal.

Just wondering how much horsepower and torque a 383 stroker engine with a 4.030 bore, 3.75 stroke with a 278 crane cam with 222 degree at .050 inlift .470 lift, port and polished gm heads with 2.02 intake/...

I would guess you would be very close to the 1 horsepower per cubic inch ball park with very comparative torque figures, much depends on how well the fuel mixture and ignition timing is set up. The port and polish work is also very important, bigger isn't always better, it's the shape that matters. Smooth ports actually flow worse than ports with an even cast surface. It's the protrusions and transitions that matter the most, not the surface.
On the dyno, at the rear wheels, I say about 290 hp and 300 torque with good gas and the timing optimized. This may sound weak, but it is an impressive real world repeatable attainable goal in my opinion. Peak numbers at the crank would be far higher, but driveline loss is huge, and so subjective because of tires, trannys and gears.

Is the DVDR05 compatible with the new flat screen LCD TVs that is hooked up to an antenna?

As long as you have some way to output from the tv to the recorder it is compatibile. If not, you will need the digital box for the antenna
