Question about 1973 Honda CB 100
NOTE: THIS BIKE IS A HONDA CT-70 ...MY BIKE WAS NOT IN THE LISTING......EVERYTHING IS HOOKED UP FINE...EXCEPT THE WIREING....ENGINE HAS A 4 PLUG HARNESS WHICH HAS 4 WIRES ATTACHED...ENGINE ALSO HAS ONE LOOSE WIRE ATTACHED TO IT...THE BIKE HAS A 4 PLUG HARNESS WITH ONLY 3 WIRES ATTACHED, AND NEITHER HARNESS WILL ATTACH TO THE OTHER...PLEASE ASSIST ME IN GETTING THIS ENGINE WIRED UP TO MY TRAIL BIKE....THANKS...P.S. MY BIKE HAS A 6 VOLT SYSTEM..I DO NOT KNOW THE VOLTAGE OF THE 1P52FMH ENGINE...IT DOES HAVE AN ELECTRIC STARTER....THANKS...HAROLD.....

Bypassing the kill switch means removing the connection of the black / white wire either at the emergency stop switch (kill/run), ignition switch or preferably at the CDI connector.

WThat center thing is the armature. It generatates voltage by breaking the magnetic field created by the field coils.. You won't get shocked or even feel the current because you cannot get it spinning fast enough. You have a coil that generates the high volttage spark from the pulsing of the generator output and voltage controlled by the regulator. the field coils are ennergize by turning on the keygetting power from the battery.. n no doubt you did good in your rewire, but the only way to test it is to run it. Yup, reassemble, new oil and start it. Sorry guy.
