Question about 2000 Yamaha YZF-R6
Struggles to start, misfiring, stalling.
This sounds like it could be any of 3 things. Ignition system, Air system & fuel system. Most commonly you'll find that the carburettors just need to be cleaned as this problem sounds related.
I would suggest thoroughly cleaning the carburettors as a good starting point. Along the way though I would also check the battery, the fuel tap and filter, the air filter and air ducts. As any of these components are blocked, will cause a similiar symptom. You should find it run better afterwards, if not I can help moving on to check the next possible cause. If you need help of how to get to the carbs and how to clean them, let me know.
