Engine cutting out after 10 minutes

Hi I have purchased a Di Blasi Folding moped, unfortunately it keeps cutting out after about 10 minutes of running. Can you help. This moped is not on your list so I am just picking a bike.

Try removing, then putting on the gas cap. The diblasi gas cap is loaded as a one way valve to prevent spillage and vapor leak. it might be clogged or malfunctioning and would need replacement if the diblasi starts after after cycling the gas cap.

I would not recommend taking it apart. There are ~10 parts that will come flying out. You can try a fuel soak to see if it helps. Otherwise, you gotta order from diblasi in italy (like I need to get around to doing).

What is the difference between Moped and Scooter?

Moped
A moped is a cycling vehicle equipped with pedals and low power motors to provide economical transport. The term moped comes from cycling pedals, which rider drives the vehicle and starts the auxiliary motor. Most countries divide a two-wheeled car into two rounds, with engine displacement below 49 cubic centimeters. Some countries need to pedal with their feet.
Scooters
Motor-scooters can be distinguished by chassis and foot pedal platforms. They are usually driven by a small motor, ranging from scooter 50 cc to 650 cc. Scooters are typically run on a 10-inch-diameter ferry. The model of the Scooters is Honda's Activa, Yamaha's Ray, Suzuki's Access and the famous Italian scooters from Vespa.
ROCKET 50cc Scooter
Technical Differences
Mopeds and scooters both use small motors to propel. However, a moped's motor is designed to assist cyclists, and only provides part of the locomotive energy. A scooter uses its motor to provide all the propulsion force, all the time. This scooter uses electric and charging systems, which can power the lights and ignition systems and recharge the batteries. Mopeds may be equipped with a basic power system, but many can still ride with a pedal. Mopeds can use small diameter or large diameter wheels, such as 36-inch bike wheels. Scooters use only small diameter wheels with a maximum diameter of 12 inches.
Legal Differences
Most countries classify mopeds as motorized bicycles and do not require the moped to be registered. However, the rider must have a valid driver's license. Scooter is classified as a motorcycle, requiring registration, motorcycle-endorsed licenses, and in some countries, insurance. Mopeds are generally restricted in speed and engine displacement, with most states limiting engine sizes to 49 cc or less and maximum speeds of 30 mph. Some, however, allows moped engine displacements up to 130 cc. Scooters aren't limited in maximum speed or displacement.
Cultural Differences
Scooters and mopeds have long been entrenched in Europe's heritage, providing transportation to much of France, Spain, and Italy. The moped moniker is commonplace and refers to many of the scooters and true mopeds that ferry people across many European cities.
These days moped is generally applied to any 50cc two wheelers but originally it was a bike with a small engine but also push bike pedals. Initially these were tiny engines mounted to normal pushbike frames or even within wheel hubs allowing the cycles to be pedalled reasonably normally however as the bikes started to be designed more and more specifically toward powered transport this aspect became less and less practical. The pedals became just a way to start the engine, this was hard work so some bright spark came up with the kick start which was less work and the moped was no more. Of course, later some even brighter spark came up with electric starts and kickstand went the same way (and yes, I know, that's oversimplified.).
Some definitions of scooter also require a platform for the rider's feet and hence would exclude step throughs like the Honda which have footpegs, this might be a regional thing as certainly when I was growing up we'd describe them as scooters in the UK.
They're pretty much the same thing these days although the term moped usually refers to the low powered, like the 50cc scooter. I haven't seen an actual moped for a while now. They used to be more common. They were a hybrid of a bicycle and a motorbike (the mo part of the word moped). Basically, they were motorized bicycles, you'd pedal to get up to speed and then the motor would kick in and keep you cruising.
Scooters on the other had been just like your Vespa type thing, no pedals, just a funny looking motorcycle, normally with no gears, just a twist and go deal. Nowadays though people kinda interchange the words depending on who's speaking.
Megamotormadness offers a variety of scooter styles with many color options. Whether you are looking for a reliable transportation alternative or just a fun ride around town, we have something to offer. Our Scooters / Mopeds are stylish and affordable. You will get the quality you need with the motor scooter prices you want. All scooters are backed with warranty and our parts department is ready to serve your requests.

07 corvette top will retract but deck lid makes no effort to close, then top will not go back up. Need to release pressure in block lift top up about 1/4 of way then top will go back up

Manually Moving the Folding Top from the Down Position
Important: Allow the system a minimum of four minutes to bleed down pressure after the last cycle.
Manually release the folding top cover latch using the emergency release cable.
Raise the folding top stowage cover.
Manually raise the folding top, holding the 5 bow up.
Manually lower and latch the folding top stowage cover.
Manually unfold the top and latch per normal procedure.

Manually Moving the Folding Top from the Up Position
Important: Allow the system a minimum of four minutes to bleed down pressure after the last cycle.
Manually release header latch per normal operation.
Manually lift front of roof off of the header and raise the #5 bow at the same time.
Manually release the Folding Top Cover latch using the emergency release cable.
Fold the roof down into the well.
Manually close and latch the folding top stowage cover.

Power Folding Top System Components
The power folding top system consists of the following components:
• Folding top control (FTC) module
• Body control module (BCM)
• Folding top control switch
• Serial data communication
• Folding top cover latch actuator
• Folding top cover pull down actuator
• Folding top pump motor with valve manifold
• Position switches and limit switches:
- Pin receiver switch
- Luggage barrier switch
- Folding top cover open switch
- Top open switch
- Top closed switch
- 5 bow raised switch
- 5 bow lowered switch
• Tonneau release relay
• TONNEAU PULL DOWN ACTUATOR Fuse 20 A
• TONNEAU RELEASE Fuse 10 A
• BATT 2 Fuse 40 A
• REAR FOG/ALDL TOP SW Fuse 10 A
• Folding top mechanical components:
- Folding top
- Folding top cover
- Folding top valve 1
- Folding top valve 2
- Folding top valve 3
- Hydraulic lines and cylinders

Folding Top Cover Latch Actuator
The power folding top system includes a folding top cover that is powered open and close by a hydraulic system that is controlled by the FTC module. A power unlatch motor is used to unlatch the folding top cover before the folding top control (FTC) module powers the top cover open. The folding top cover unlatching is requested by the FTC module via class 2 message, but is executed by the body control module (BCM). When requested, the BCM applies battery voltage through the folding top cover release relay control circuit to the tonneau release relay. The relay is energized and battery voltage is applied through the folding top cover release control circuit to the latch actuator. The actuator is energized and the latch releases the folding top cover.

The electronics on this are very complex ,

System Operation
Before any movement of the power folding top is allowed, the folding top control (FTC) module must be aware of the following conditions:
• Unlatch the header. The FTC module reads the pin receiver switch is Inactive.
• The windows must be normalized. Refer to Power Window Reinitialization.
• The ignition must be placed in Accessory or RUN.
• The transmission must be placed in PARK, or with manual transmission, the park brake must be applied.
• Trunk status must not be ajar.
• The luggage barrier must be in place.
• The pump motor temperature must be within the operating range.

After the last cycle of power folding top operation, allow the hydraulic system a minimum of 4 minutes to bleed down before attempting manual operation of the top.
Your best bet take and have it checked for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes .
