underneath the bike on the left side of the oil pan, right at the front edge is a bolt (some look like a allen wrench bolt). Take it out and also take out the oil dipstick to let it flow easier -but before you do it run the bike for about 5 minutes to heat the oil up some.

I have 2004 heritage, I have no running lights on rear lights, fuses all ok, all other lights ok, any thoughts would be helpful.

Hi Fred:
I'd probably start by using a voltmeter and checking for power, starting at the fuse, and then pulling a bulb and checking at the pin in the center of the socket. If you have power, use the continuity meter and check the outside of the socket to ground. Chances are that the ground may be the problem. If there is no power at the socket, but there is at the fuse, the problem will be a disconnected wire.
Hope this helps.
Cheerfuls.

Orange/white = Switched 12 VDC (tail light)
Red/yellow = Stop light
Solid brown = Right turn signal power/signal
Solid purple = Left turn signnal power/signal
Solid black = Ground

Problem with rear tail light/brake light

Resolution Below -

Okay, I had the same problem...My 04 Suzuki DR200SE tail light /brake light is not working. Brake lights works in park mode not in ON with engine running or not. Tail light not in either mode.

Volt meter shows the socket is working correctly, fuses are good. I even adjusted the pressure switch for the rear brake application. MOM shows nothing positive to help me trouble shoot and neither does the internet. Lots of people with same issue, but I'm not seeing any resolution.

I'm posting the resolution as lots have had this issue, but no one has posted how they fixed it. It's the ground wire inside the tail section. Which is why the volt meter (which is grounded) shows the socket is good. You'll have the pull the tail section and note the ground wire has either broken off, or the wire has sucked up inside the insulation. You'll need to strip insulation, get to good wire and reattach it. I'd even solder it to keep it solid. Hope this helps someone else!!

Motorola T5622 VOX Not Activating with Autocom Sys I have an Autocom (Kit 300) motorbike coms system. I bought the accessory cord that interfaces to the Motorola T5622, for VOX I have followed the Motorola...

Hi Folks, two seperate checks to do - to check vox on autocom and transmit on motorola. With the T5622 unconnected to anything, does the push transmit button work - e.g. does it make the beep noise at the end of transmission?

Does your autocom work with any other sound sources - i.e. mp3 player so you can hear music. Does this mute when you speak ? (it should if vox is working). Note that in this setup vox is provided by autocom - NOT BY THE T5622. The instructions you mention are for the motorola vox kit.

Wire the two together and you should get the motorola beeping through your autocom at the end of transmit - that's what my kit 200 does with my T5622.
