1993 Honda Goldwing 1500SE I had a radio issue where no sound was coming through speakers replaced a fuse that was blown named Back up on the fuse panel that is located in the hardest place to get to behind the left saddle bag which in my opinion over the course of that wing could of been relocated. Now upon starting the bike has no headlight unless you have the bike in the reverse mode with the handle up then it works when it should be off.. [email protected]

SOURCE: 1998 Honda Goldwing will not start nothing.

Sort of sounds like a Twilight Zone kind of problem doesn't it. I would have the battery checked for an internal dead short. This is something that happens on odd occasions and can happen even to a new battery. Yea, the little lights will work ( they do not draw much juice ), but the starter motor draws a lot of juice and a shorted battery just ain't got it. Also check the wiring harness connections. One loose connection can cause bunches of trouble.

SOURCE: 96 goldwing radio no volume

Had the same problem, there is a fuse on the left side, way down under all that stuff, it is just a line fuse to the radio, it has blown, it is not in the book, and it hides real good. Drove us nuts looking for it. And when we were ready to buy a new radio, we found the fuse. Took 8 hours to totally dismantle bike to find it. Will take you 10 minutes, good luck.

SOURCE: bike starts and within 10

That indicates a severe malfunction in the ECM - the ignition module is defective and shorts internally, freezing the processor of the ECM.
Inspect the entire wiring harness and its grounding connections, replace the ECM and verify the alternator.

All audio functions stop on my goldwing. The display says the radio is tuned in, but all sound (speakers and headset) just quit. Will come back sometimes when I cross a bump.

check wire connectors and such at radio and amp and clean switches with electrical cleaner.not likely to be the fuses but could be loosing grounding
