Hello Momtexas1:

>>Remove the Spark Plugs and Wrap the Threaded Section of the Plug with Wire, then Attach the Other End of the Wire to the Engine Block.
>>**First Make Sure the Plastic End that Snaps to the Plug is Allowing Current to the Plug. Use a Test Light or Multimeter and Check for Fire Behind this Connector (through the Large Rubber like Coil Lead to Plug) for Fire to the Plug whenever there is No Fire to the Plug.**
>>Once you are Sure the Coil Lead and Ends to the Plug are Not the Reason for No Fire to the Plug, then with the Plug Still Wired to the Engine and the Coil Lead Attached to the Plug; Remove the Coil Shut Off Wire at the Shut Off Switch.
>>Check for Fire. If No Fire, then Remove the Cut Off Wire from the Coil (removal of the blower housing required) and Check for Fire.
>>If the Spark Plugs are Firing with the Plugs Out and Properly Grounded to the Engine, then Replace the Plugs and Start the Engine.
>>Using an Insulated Plug Wire Puller, Pull the Plug Wire from 1 Cylinder. If the Engine Continuse to Run, then Replace the Plug Wire and Disconnect the Other Plug Wire. If the Engine Quits, then Replace the Other Cylinders Coil.
Send me the Model and Type or Spec Numbers Off the Engine and the Mower Model Numbers, Please. With these I can Locate the Proper Manual and Better Assist you. The Engine Model Numbers May be Stamped Into the Blower Housing (metal engine cover) Above the Spark Plug. The Mower Model Numbers are Usually Located Under the Seat on a Sticker on the Body of the Mower.
>>Thanks.

Respectfully

John

Truck wont start engine turns but wont fire

If the trucks turns over and does not seem like the battery is dead I would assume it is spark or fuel. Check spark plugs to make sure they spark. Pull one plug at a time hold it against side of engine and have someone turn the truck over for you. You should see bright spark from all spark plugs. If you do see spark then check your Fuel Pump to make sure it is getting power and is opperating correctly also check your fuel filter to make sure it is not plugged. Good luck, Hope this helps.

Motor will turn over but engine will not start the fan will make rotations but it will not fire off and run. i am getting power from the battery

Then you are not getting either the spark from the spark plugs or the fuel from the fuel pump. If you haven't done a general maintenance tune up on it in a while, then I would start with that. Change the spark plugs and wires first.

My car will turn over but it dont get fire to it. What should i do?

Here's a couple of options ... from least expensive to most expensive:
if your engine is turning over, then your electrical system is probably good, but if you are not getting fire, it is likely your spark plugs. Try replacing them and see if that fixes it.
If it is not your plugs, then you might have an issue with your spark-plug wiring (between the distributor and the plugs). If they look old and worn, try putting on a new set.
It could be your fuel system -- if your engine is not getting gas, it won't fire no matter how good the plugs are. Give it a new fuel filter first and try it out ... if not that then try the fuel pump.
If you are still not getting fire to the engine, have someone look at your distributor cap -- if it is not distributing power to the spark plugs correctly then your engine will not fire
If it is not any of these problems, you will probably have to take the car to a professional and have them give it a look. The above issues are the most common, most likely, and easiest and cheapest to fix, so I would try those first. If you plan on doing the work yourself, grab a Haynes manual to help you out -- it might even have a list of common issues that are specific to your make and model of car.

TOYOTA CELICA TURNS ON BUT DOES NOT START??

(THERE,S NUMBEROUS WAYS WHY IT WILL NOT CRANK ) NO1 CHECK TO SEE IF IT,S GETTING GAS , THERE,S A PRESSURE RELEASE VALVE LOOKS LIKE A TIRE STEAM WITH A BLACK CAP ON IT PRESS IT IN WITH PHILLIP SCREW DRIVER AND IF THE GAS SHOOT OUT IT,S GETTING GAS ) NO.2 TAKE A OLD SPARK PLUG ,DISCONNECT ONE OF YOUR SPARK WIRES AND CONNECT TO THE LOOSE SPARK AND TURN THE CAR OVER TO SEE IF IT,S GETTING FIRE ,AND IF IT,S NOT GETTING FIRE TO THE PLUGS IT,S YOUR CRANK POSTION SENSOR ,AND IF IT,S GETTING FIRE TO THE PLUGS . TAKE A TEST LIGHT WITH THE SWITCH TURN TO ON AND IF IT LIGHTS UP THAT MEAN THE CRANK POSTION SENOR IS WORKING ,BUT IF YOU ARE GETTING FIRE FROM ALL OVER THERE,S ONE THING TO CHECK AND THATS YOUR DISTRUBATOR ,STICK THE TEST LIGHT IN WHERE ONE OF THE SPARK WIRES ARE AT AND IF IT LIGHT,S UP THE DISTRUBATOR IS BAD ,AND JUST REPLACE IT ,OR CHECK FOR YOUR FUSE RELAY TO YOUR FUEL PUMP AND THAT SHOULD DO IT

I have a 92 camry 4cyl. Won't fire at the sparkplug. Replaced plug wires and plugs, distributor, igniter and still won't fire. Any suggestions?

Take out a spark plug, lay the plug (with the spark plug wire attached)on the engine and turn the motor over, if it sparks, your getting fire, Try each plug, works best a night so you can see the spark.
