In theory it is possible - the spaces are there to accomodate the cruise. However... you will need a new ECU at least as the Mk1 will not have the code for CC.
I would recommend getting the McCruise unit... comes with everything you need and is a better unit than the BMW one.

I don't know how to turn the cruise control on in my 2002 Chrysler 2000 300M

All you gotta do is hit the on button on your steering wheel then accelerate to any speed above 35 mph. Once there you press set and the cruise control takes over.

The cruise control on my 2000 Alero doesn't work. What are the possible problems? Is there a fuse for this?

Yes, there is a fuse. Could be the vehicle speed sensor, could be a bad wheel bearing, could be cruise control switch, could be transmission control module, could be brake light switch.

How do you retrofit cruise control to a 2004 Jaguar X type 3.0 AWD?

You might want to surf the internet for Universal Cruise control kits. They are offered by TONS of auto parts chains & outlets. To fit OEM Jag cruise to yours that doesn't have (I presume) would be outrageously high dollar for parts. If you have speciality shop near you (non Jag dealer) ask them for recommendation.

My cruse control stopped working. Could it be something simple like a blown fuse?

Possibly. Have you had it in to the dealer for service lately? There was a cruise control recall on that model. Dealers were told to disconnect the cruise until replacement parts were available. You could also try lifting the brake pedal with your toe while trying to engage the cruise system, If the brake pedal switch is out of adjustment it will not let the cruise activate. Always check fuses first though.

I have a 4 x 4 2000 S10, the cruise corntrol is not working. the fuses look good. All light appear to be OK. what else should I check?

If there is an Auto Zone around your area, have the truck checked for any DTC codes that may keep your Cruise control from working and make sure that your brake lights do not stay on which can be the cause of the cruise control from working. If all the simple things have been checked, then check the wire harness to the cruise control modulator. The modulator is located in the fire wall beside the brake booster, make sure the wire harness is not damaged in anyway. If all the wires seam good, then it's a good chance that it's going to be the cruise control modulator it self. Mine went bad a few years back and i picked one up from the Salvaged yard for around $35,00. You don't have to get one from a 2000, you can pick one out from a newer truck like yours of one from a newer truck with the same cruise control modulator. Good luck and keep me posted, be glad to answer any more questions you may have.

My 2002 K1200RS cruise control has stopped working. The small red light on the control illuminates but the amber light on the dash no longer comes on nor does the cruise kick in. Any ideas?

check the brake pedal switch, mine was to close to coming on all the time and would flash the light on bumps not allowing the cruise to engage untill I bent the little tab to hit the microswitch sooner and stay touching it.

After oil change, check engine light came on and cruise control light is blinking

Possible solution to original question related to cruise control. The 'mechanic' may have bumped and misaligned the sensor for the cruise control.
