I need to find the oil drain plug of my harley davidson FXRS lowrider 1986.
I found many links on the internet and even bought a book about it, they all write different places to look, but none is true so far...
Please help me
Important: it is not a FXR Super Glide, the product field is mandatory but my model is not among the list so I just picked one there.
Right hand side should be a drain plug on your oil bag. Its right above your starter.
Motor oil is drained from the oil tank, not from the crankcase. If the primary is chain drive there is a drain plug under the primary cover towards the back. If the primary is belt drive, there is no oil in it.
Simply call your local dealer. they have all shop manuals back to the 1980's.
Testimonial: "Have found it already, but thanks anyway. This is the first correct reply I got."
remove the left side cover. at the bottom of the oil tank the should be hose with a plug in it. remove plug to drain the oil. refilling is under you seat.
