Definately collectable. It would greatly depend on if someone needed that piece badly. If someone wanted to purchase a new one from a site like bikebandit it would cost $525.00 dollars plus shipping. I can't imagine they sell that many though. Check ebay. I don't believe those endurance meters are model specifc. I have one on my 85 xr350. I hope that answers your question.

Husky 8 gallon compressed blows breaker when it has a full tank .

Fuses blow and breakers trip out - if your compressor blows the breaker it is unusual and spells big trouble. It would have been helpful if you had mentioned whether it was the RCD (or ELCB) or the MCB that was tripping out.

The earlier version of the RCD which is the ELCB detects current escaping down the ground wire indicating a fault. The RCD compares the current entering the circuit with the returning current and will trip if the two aren't identical, again indicating a potentially serious fault.

The MCB or micro circuit breaker is a device that replaced the old fashioned fuse and is in effect a resettable fuse and like a fuse it trips with both a slow overload and a short circuit, though in the case of a slow overload they are less forgiving than a fuse.

I assume it is the MCB that is tripping out when the compressor motor starts to work harder as the air tank approaches cut off pressure?
An electric motor working hard demands far more current than a motor running free and the harder it works the more current it demands.

I speculate your problem is the circuit you have connected your compressor to is incapable of supplying enough current to power it efficiently. I think if you use a supply that is protected by at least a 15 amp MCB (preferably 20 amp) it will be ok, though it must be considered once up to pressure the motor switches off and restarts when the pressure drops - that restart under load has a huge current demand that requires a good supply with minimal volt drop so if an extension lead is being used it should be as short as possible and as heavy duty as possible...

I have a 2005 XR 650L, and the clutch quit working. I have adjusted the cable and am getting full range of motion, its just not dis engaging the clutch. it has 2000 miles and has not been ridden hard at...

with 2000 miles you should not be having a issue like you state , if your cable is not seized and good working order the clutch should work, if not when you had the clutch apart did you lightly sand the metal and fiber plates also when you install the clutch hub make sure it's seated correct or the clutch will not work, the plates must be tight in the clutch hub also check the online parts diagram to make sure no parts are missing , also check that hub is not grooved from wear.

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. When a Panasonic is giving "no read" and there are loud "clunking" or "chugging" noises this usually indicates that the lens is dirty or has failed. Other problems may include a failing or failed Digital PCB or some problem with the ribbon cables from the DVD Drive to the Digital PCB (on 2006 models such as the DMR-EZ models there is some problem with the ribbon cables to the DVD Drive on-board controller board.
Please check this picture for ribbon cable connections--

Which western digital hard drive is compatible with a hitachi travelstart 4200 rpm ata/ide? Currently running WinXP on Compaq V2000. Would like a hard drive that's a little faster and more than 60 gig.

Maybe you should be looken for a terabyte to upgrade it with though 4200 rpms isnt much and i dont know if western digital makes a terabye but you need to know the power demande for the replacement
drive and match them through demintion and power demand

Hi, I am having a problem with my home a/c. Ive been having to reset the high press. control reset button on the side of my outside condensor unit lately. Ive noticed that the fan is having difficulty...

If you spin the motor and it starts running, the capcitor is bad. Replace it and all should be well. High pressure is tripping as the fan motor is not starting when the unit comes on.

Hello there: I wonder if I can replace the rear shock of my XR 600R 1992 with a XR 650R 2002 rear shock. Cant find any information about the full lenght of either? Thanks in advance guys. Cheers.

Hi Manolo,

with regard to your question, YES, you may use an OEM rear shock from an 02 XR 650f to your 1992 XR600. Both models have the same link type ro it should fit perfectly.note the placing though, you may need larger bushing to fit the shocks.

hope this helps. if you have other questions, please let me know.

regards,

Electric start dont work

You probably have a bad switch

First look to se if there are any fuses
also see if horn works

FIX for determining if starter works

to find out take jumper cables and put the red cable on the plus side of the battery and the black on the minus side of battery(ground)

Put the black lead(ground ) on the frame of the bike near starter and touch the red to the starter lead( you may have to peel back rubber boot over starter nut

when you touch the starter nut it will spark and should spin over

if it does then you need to remove the screw assembly that holds the starter button and remove and clean it out with electronic cleaner (you may have to replace it if so go to honda shop and order new one

Good luck
