Aprilia habana custom 125. drive belt went and kick start parts were worn.Replaced drive belt and kick start, but now not starting electrically. Any ideas please?

Hello. The interesting thing about these small motor cycles is that their charging system is not adequate to keep the battery fully charged. I recommend that you charge the battery fully and then start it. When the battery is totally dead, even a kick start will not start it. The charging process may also indicate that your battery needs to be replaced. If you are still using the original battery on a 2005 I would begin by having that battery tested at any auto parts store.
