Make sure you are turning wrench and nut clockwise to remove nut and counterclock to put back on,you will never get nut off if turning counterclocwise, threads pitch is opposite to screw pitches.
You are tightening and did not know it maybe???
Other option:
Need to put lock nut wrench in a vise jaw and clamp, then place tool on wrench and press down and turn. This should give you added leverage to break loose nut,and btw make sure to turn clockwise to unscrew and clockwise to tighten, this is opposite of what you might do to tighten or untighten
If it is not metal can you break it off. Do understand how to turn wrench you did not have any thanks to say????
???
Dear jkw20879, Please go back and rate me a Fix Ya. I do have a solution on how to get it off but you have quit and rated me to early and since it is a metal blade that will help us,I have been through this before. They do not rate us a guru just to be funny.Do you want this fixed or not????
Well, just go down where "green stars " are and turn them Blue, you always as a asker have a choice to change your rating.
Does it ask you that option??

Removing or installing the punch and die
Always replace the punch and die as a set.
To remove the punch and die, loosen the lock nut with the wrench.
Remove the die holder from the tool.
Use the hex wrench to loosen the bolts which secure the die. Remove the die
from the die holder.
Use the hex wrench to loosen the screw which secures
the punch.
Pull the punch out of the punch holder.
To install the punch and die, insert the punch into the
punch holder so that the notch in the punch faces toward
the screw.
Tighten the screw to secure the punch.
Install the die on the die holder.
Tighten the bolts to secure the die.
Then install the die holder on the tool so that the punch is
inserted through the hole in the die holder.
Tighten the lock nut to secure the die holder.
After replacing the punch and die, lubricate them with machine oil and run
tool as needed

manipulating is difficult because 9 in. blade is on grinder currently.
Thanks for verifying the direction. Unfortunately it is a metal blade and has resulted in a good cut across the arm already. May just have to beat it off & hope for the best.
Sorry-haven't used the site before...
When you change your rating, it only asks if solution helpful, yes or no & did it solve your problem, yes or no. That must change the colors. Don't want to say yes it solved, because we haven't resolved & don't want to say no, cause that's not fair to you.
That'w why coming up "it was helpful."
