Signals and Four Way Flasher working intermittently

My car is a 2003 Chevy Monte Carlo LS. The signals and Four ways flasher lights work only intermittently. You have to tap to relay switch on the four way flasher (dashboard) to get it to work intermittently.

Do you happen to know the price range for the part, and do you have to buy the directional switch also. I called an auto parts that had in in stock, and you have to buy the bundle for over $300. Please let me know ... thank you!

Replace the hazard switch, It has the turn signal flasher built in to it.

Isn't the hazard switch in the dash? You should just need the hazard switch, not the turn signal/combination switch.

Location of signal flasher module in 2001 chevrolet monte carlo

It's behind the hazard button on the instrument panel. You have to take out the instrument panel bezel to get to it. It controls both turn signals and emergency flashers.

Just replace the flasher. you can find it under the dash on the drivers side... Just turn the key on and turn the signal light to one side or the other and follow the clicking noise.

Hazard/turn signal dont work 2002 monte carlo will not fash nor turn on once in a while indicator light blink for a slight second

you could have a bad flasher unit causing this.you say hazard/flasher not working.do you mean just the signals not working and think the hazards won`t work or are the hazards not working.there are two flasher units one for signal and one for hazards.you could have a problem with the signal switch as well.

No turn signals or hazards???

Check the FLASHER unit; the turn signal flasher is mounted in a clip on the right side of the steering column support bracket. The hazard flasher is located in the component center, under the instrument panel, on the right side. Replace the flasher by unplugging the old one and plugging in the new one.

Hazard flasher -->> The Flasher is located: Front seating area, passenger side, under dash, below glove compartment, mounted in fuse panel

Turn signal -->> The Flasher is located: Front seating area, driver side, under dash, mounted on passenger side of steering column

Good luck (remember comment and rated this).

My turn signal lights are no longer working, bulbs seem fine. whats the problem?

If none of your turn signals are working, try pushing in the hazard flasher button on your car, to see if all four lights flash. If not, you need to first locate the fuse to the flasher circuit, and if it is good, locate the flasher unit. It is usually located near or plugged into the fuse panel.

2004 monte carlo. Turn signals dont work. The stalk still works with other functions, such as wiper, brights. The fuse is fine. Could it be a bad relay? When u push the stalk up or down nothing happens on...

try pressing the hazards on and off if they still don,t work replace the flasher unit. it is built into the hazard switch( all one unit ) change this and all will be good.

Hello I had the same problem on my 04 monte. After changing bulbs ,checking wires etc. I finally took it to the dealer and they found out it was the hazard switch. After swapping it with a new one all lights, dash etc started working again and have not had another problem
