1994 Dodge Viper will not start after storage and battery drain.

We charged the battery and car will fire once and die. Apparently the security system is engaged and we need info on how to reset. No poer locks or fob. Tried turning key on for a time, turning off and starting. Nothing seems to work, any ideas?? thanks

With the battery charger connected or a jumper battery simply click the alarm key fob on and then off. This will reset the alarm and the car should start...had mine towed to find this out

How do I reset my Dodge Viper 1994 alarm? My battery died and my alarm shut down my engine.

If you go to the alarm control module under the drivers side knee panel near the steering column you can ground the green wire with orange stripe by sticking a small gauge wire in the plug where the green/orange wire is and as soon as it grounds the alarm will disarm.

1994 Cadillac Seville is draining the battery. Pulled the modular fuse and Radio fuse and still getting a drain on the battery. Disconnected the altenator and still getting a drain on the battery. What...

Check the cells on the battery, if they are dry or not full of water then they can go bad. That would incorporate the battery to keep dying. When you start the car it feeds off the alternator, and then starts to die.
Check your charging system, test the battery.

2000 Dodge Ram cargo van trouble starting and once started will not keep running tried jumping battery and no change what should we try next?

Sounds like the alternator is bad (not charging). If your battery is good/charged it should run until the battery is drained. If the battery is bad/not charged the car will die as soon as the cables are taken off as there is not enough juice to run the ignition system. If the alternator is good (but battery bad) the car would still run as the alternator makes power to run the car but becasue the battery is dead/drained there is no power to start the car (hense needing the jump). Have the alternator/charging system tested

Getting to battery

By jacking it up, and taking off the left rear tire.

You'll see an access panel.
