Yes .remove the gear selector ..(after marking it position) using a sharp pointer pulla t center of seal leaver it away carefully ...once its moving use flat head to fully pully out ...clean sharft to remove any contamination or burrs..use wet and dry soake in wd40 before you replace new seal ensure you cover the seal rubber face with red rubber grease ..push new seal to housing ..and gently ease inwith fingers as far as you can ..then tap all way home woth a punch ..ensure yo do not dammage the seal in doing this

The seal under the dirt seal on the fork was leaking when I picked the bike up from the owner. left the fork oil under the dirt seal kept bouncing the forks up and down for 4 days the seal got soft from the fork oil so I pulled the dirt seal up then cleaned the fork oil under it with a rag then checked it for leaks then pushed dirt seal back down in the groove and its not leaking now 200 miles and still dry.

It is different then most other carbs. DON"T DRILL ANY BRASS HEADS LOOKING FOR THE AIR FUEL MIXTURE. The air fuel mixture is the only adjustment you can make. It is located on the bottom side of the air intake, right behind the air filter box. It looks like a 1/4" flat metal plug. Do NOT drill this. There is no slot for a screw driver. There is a tool which is no more then a small piece of pipe that fits over this plug and you turn it in till seated, gently. Count the turns. Back out to 2 and a half turns, thats normal. Or if you no that you need more fuel injected, simply turn the screw OUT 1/4 or 1/2 turn and try it. GOOD LUCK (Its not hard)
