SOURCE: how much pressure should my

Look at the sidewall of both tires. There will be a 'MAX PSI' embossed on the tire. It will probably say Max 45 PSI. At 45psi the bike will ride like a rock. At 15psi it will ride really squirrely. Find a psi at which you feel the bike handles well and rides well. One rider may weigh 125 pounds and the next rider may weigh 300 pounds. The best psi for each rider will be different due to weight. Chances are that 30 to 35 psi will do the trick. Please take a moment to rate my answer. Thanks.

How long shoul tyres last on gxs750

Jacqui that would depend on the way you ride and/or the compound of the tyres. Soft compound may be safer if you are a hard rider, middle of the road compound if just ride for pleasure. I got 4000 kms out of a rear tyre on a 1981 Triumph Bonny.

Im getting a lot of vibration from the rear when at higher speeds dont no why tire is good lowerd tire pressure still there dont no what to do

Sounds like a balance issue. Have you brake skidded that tire? If so then you may have a flat spot, inspect the tire closely, if it looks good take the wheel to your local dealer and have them balance it for you.
While you have the wheel off the bike check the wheel bearings, if you feel any looseness or grinding now is the time to replace them.
Good Luck!

Whats the corect tyre pressures for a 1996 T/bird (Avon tyres)

Thank you for using Fixya, Raymond.
I would like to inform you that you can find the correct front and rear tire pressure of your Triump on your owner's manual. However, you can also check the average tire pressure on the sidewall of the rubber tire.

Because it must be replaced I would like to know the measures of the tires for Triumph Spitfire MK 3 1969 and the necessary pressure of air.

The tire size is printed on the sidewall of the tire. If the tires are really old (like as old as the car) You will not find what you need on the tire. The tire size is a series of numbers somthing like P195/70R13. If they are really old they might say somthing like 5.00x13. As for air presure the new tires will have that on the side wall too. Should be about 32psi.
