Question about Suzuki TL 1000 R Motorcycles
I have a tlr 1000 on a w reg..its been stood for 13 weeks due to a broken leg but was started every other day..i started it on saturday and ran it round the block and it was fine. i got it back and shut off the engine and when i returned it wouldnt start...it cranked but there was no starting. i noticed the fuel pump wasnt priming . i checked all fuses and wiring and still nothing so i put it into dealer mode and got the code c41 which is a fuel pump/relay issue...i bypassed the relay by putting a wire from the yellow and red wire on the pump to the orange and blue and the pump primed...it fired up once and that was it it wouldnt prime again so its narrowed down to the pump relay....i think... cant get it to prime again and its really starting to grip my s..t can you help
I have a pump for a tl, if you need one. let me have your pump numbers to x check.

You cannot bleed the fuel injection system.Test the pump alone (not on the bike) for sufficient fuel supply. Also check the fuel pump relay.
If all that is ok next time you try to crank the engine (only with kill switch on, the fuel pump primes up) with lifted tank and opened air box, spray a bit of carb cleaner spray towards the throttle bodies. It will help.
