Both rear tires in very good cond. lost their tread and blew out

Only a very few things will cause a tire to blow out. Most common is a defect in the tire. Running the tire low of air pressure or overloading the vehicle or a combination of both will cause it to blow out. If you had the correct pressure in the tires and did not overload the vehicle then I would suspect the tires were defective. I would go back to wherever you bought the tires and ask for an adjustment.

Im am rotating tires on a 94 jeep cherokee the

Move the passenger side rear tire to the front, and passenger side front to driver side rear. Switch the driver side rear tire to the front and driver side front to passenger side rear. Repeat this "X" pattern each time you rotate the tires. Rotate the tires from side to side if the tires are different sizes on the front and rear.

This is the better solution. Hope helped (remember rated this help)

For more details about Jeep Cherokee, review the Service Manual.

Good luck.

Rear tire wear

Sounds like your alignment is out, take it and get it balanced, If not that then something has broken in the rear end causing your tire to wear wrong

Tire heat

the Vulcan has never been hit and no unusual wear appears on the rear tire. The pressure is at the recommended level (28psi). Thanks. You're good to go nothing to worry about. MC tires utilize very soft compounds and rely on warm-up to perform their best. I just replaced my rear tire after 9200 miles and the front looks like it will go another 5,000. That's the same experience I had on my NightHawk as well.,,,
