Warrior that turns over but has no spark?

I have a 2004 350 Yamaha Warrior that turns over, but has no spark. I went through all electrical connections, cleaning all Molex connectors w/CRC electrical cleaner and blew them out w/an electronic duster(compressed gas) then used dielectric grease. All connections tight w/no loose wires. After doing that w/a new plug, same thing. Turns over like a dream, but still has no spark. I suspect one of three things has failed, ignition coil, stator coil or the CDI control. I believe you can ohm these three parts out, not sure what the resistance specs are for any of these three parts? I would like to know if I can troubleshoot these three parts this way? Any help in pointing me in the right direction would be much appreciated, thank you.

AT ANY ELECTRONIC SPARK PRODUCING DEVICE:
1. A SIMPLE CONTINUITY TEST LIGHT WILL TELL YOU IF CURRENT CAN PASS THRU THE CDI, IGNITION, ETC..

Testimonial: "Thanks for the advice Jeff, I don't have a continuity test light. However my volt meter can show me resistance, just not sure where to put my Leeds from my tester on the stator or CDI because there 4 or 6 conductors goin to the Molex connector from the stator and I believe there are 8 conductor taps on the CDI. If I buy a continuity test light can I test each pin or tap on the Molex connectors individually? Thanks."

SOURCE: LOSE OF SPARK

Pull the plug back out of the cylinder and ground it against one of the head bolts, kick the engine over to see if you are getting a spark.

SOURCE: its a 1973 yamaha CT1 175 There is no list for it

I haven't worked on that bike in 30 years, but as I recall, the black wire goes to the points. The coil grounds via the mounting bolts.

Sounds like you have a bad igntion switch or other electrical gremlin somewhere. If this is something you bought like this, then I would get a service manual with a wiring diagram and ensure the wires on the key switch are in the right positions.

Hi i have a 1997 yamaha 350 warrior i have no spark to the spark plug what could be

hello, you probably need to have your stator checked out, sometimes the pickup coil in the stator will go out, also you can try ign coil, the one spark plug wire is hooked to,warriors are bad about cdi going out, mine would idle, would not rev up, would bog down, source coil in stator probably needs to be checked also..

Yamaha warrior won't start

If you are getting a nice bright blue spark then no, the last time I had a problem like this it was sugar in my tank. If you taste a bit off your finger and it is the slightest bit sweet, then some one has sugared your tank. If so just flush the tank with a little fresh fuel and then flush the carb, and fuel lines by spinning the engine over for a bit then try to start again.
Is yours an electronic ignition or points. If points gap could be wrong or even timing slipped. That has happened to me also.
