SOURCE: 91 SUZUKI RM 125 CLUTCH PROBLEM

First, try the cable adjustment at the lever end, if no more movement re-adjust inwards, then adjust at the clutch end.
If no joy, then it is either the lifter mechanism or the clutch its self.

SOURCE: Suzuki RM 85 exhaust valve adjustment

I will come back to you with the method for adjusting this.
If you set the power valve to open at a higher rpm or restrict the vavle from opening to its maximum then your problem will be solved.

If you do the latter though you will definately lose your power at high rpm.

Does the RM 125 have a power valve? The mechanic said that the power valve is broken. If you can show me a diagram of the engine I would know what to look for when I go to buy the parts. thank you

It depends on what model the bike is. They didn't start putting them in until 1986 so if its newer than that then it has one. Go to a place like www.mrcycles.com and look at Suzuki parts, pick your year and model and look for exhaust valve.

Front forks will not push down at all,how do u adjust softness? and rear is so soft that it bottoms out on jumps, how do u ajust?

wrench or hand turn rear mono shock. Extend the shock for more resistance. Are the front forks air or gas? If they are not pushing down then the rebound is problem bottomed out , air valve on top of forks

Power valve

You need to strip the top end down, give it a decent de-coke,get All the black burnt deposits off from the internal walls.remove the power valve system and do the same, when you put it back together use a light lube Just to make sure the valve has full un-restricted movement . There is no adjustment ,only set up. I think you will find this will solve the problem.
