SOURCE: i hav pulsar 150dtsi model2004,nowadays

Replace your timing chain, mobil,& adjust tappit and keep a check on the mobil levels.. if it decreases top it up. Back firing is caused due to timing chain mismatch. Just do the same.. it will be fine..!

SOURCE: I am planning to purchase

I found that the Tyre grips are not so good enough in the Pulsar. It is very slippy in the muddy roads but the bike is fantastic in the roads. The best bikes for the hilly regions are dirt bikes but if you still wanna go for it, it is a good bike though. Mileage is 40 km/hr in average but in the highway it reaches to 50 to 52 km/hr.

Purpose of increasing the idiling

Hi sharun,
We should never increase the rpm . What comes from factory is the best . Sometimes in cold condition The will give you hiccup .so we increase the rmp otherwise no need
MORE RPM LESS MILEAGE

the engine sound has to be tak tak .
