Question about Honda Motorcycles
I replaced the fork seals on my 95 magna. Looking at the manuel it says fork oil capacity 4.8 oz and it also says for oil capacity is 17.62oz. The question is how much fork oil do I put back into each?
Let someone else chime in but on my '83 magna it 13 oz
the bikes have changed a lot since then.. 4.8 oz sounds very low

depending on your weight and the type of riding you do its kind of a loaded question, normal fork oil will range from 5 to 20wt so depending on what your tipping the scales at lets just say the bigger the rider, the thicker the oil, now next question is what type of rider are you? mountain pass riding or just straight down the highway? have you had any problems with bottoming out at all? if so go with the heavy wt but also consider either shimming the stock springs or just replacing with an aftermarket spring kit. if your into just floating down the interstate then my friend keep it on the lite side.
