SOURCE: on my 92 rm 125 i put a new stater on it and where

Could be a bad coil, coil wire or module. The module converts the pulses of the stator so the coil knows when to spark. Bad coil = no spark. Bad coil wire = no spark to plug.

SOURCE: The wires coming out of motor don't match what's on wiring harness. And I have real diagram but there is no stator or color decoder on it along with 2 other component that do not have names on then s

It looks to me as if that plug is to the TCI, (Transistorized Coil Ignition).

So it has leads to the stator as an electrical source, leads to the coils, and a lead to the tach.

NO SPARK ON A 98 RM 125

Hi and welcome to FixYa,

Initially, test for the presence / absence of below described voltages using an analog / needle type voltmeter when starting the bike:
  • pulsating low AC voltage coming from the pickup coil;
  • pulsating voltage feeding the ignition coil.

Good luck and thank you for asking FixYa.

Time left display flashes LE.

It is a locked motor error. One of the following is causing the problem but you may need the help of a qualified appliance technician:
  1. The connector (3-pin, male, white) in the motor harness is not connected to the connector (3-pin, female, white) of the stator assembly. Connect them properly.
  2. The electrical contacts between the connectors (3-pin, male, white) in the motor harness and 4-pin, female, white connector in the main board assembly is bad or unstable. Clean the connectors and connect them properly.
  3. The motor harness between the stator assembly and main board assembly is cut or open. Reconnect or rewire.
  4. Motor winding is defective. Check the resistance between the terminals of the stator. Resistance should be between 5 to 10 ohms, else replace the stator.
  5. The hall sensor is out of order/defective. It is located at the stator assembly. If the hall sensor is out of order, it cannot detect magnetic field and the main board sees it as the rotor is locked then displaying the error code. Replace it if no evidence of defect is found above.

The Fault Code "LE" just appeared during beginning of wash cycle. O Manual says we should pull plug and call repairman. I chose to plug back in and restart. Is this an indication of a pending motor...

The code LE indicates a "locked motor error".
Possible causes: The connector (3-pin), male, white) in the motor harness is not connected to the connector. (3-pin,female,white) of stator assembly. Or the electrical contact between the connectors. (3-pin,male,white) in the motor harness and 4-pin,female,white connector in the main PWB assembly is bad or unstable. Or the motor harness between the stator assembly and main PWB assembly is cut (open circuit) Or the hall sensor is out of order/defective. These are some of the potential causes of this code. Really sorry for your trouble and I hope this helped. Best wishes.

How do you install the frd03-dvd? mines came with no instructions.

Hello jeffery_armi,

The FRD03-DVD allows you to replace the factory head-unit and retain the audio and power to your OEM DVD player. With the FRD03-DVD, the audio from the OEM DVD player is connected to the auxiliary input of the aftermarket radio to allow the DVD audio to be heard over the vehicle's audio system.

The FRD03-DVD harness consists of a molex-plug, stereo RCA audio male connectors, and red and black wires ending in "pigtails".

1) Connect the molex plug into the OEM harness.
2) Connect the RCA audio connectors into the "AUX" inputs of your aftermarket head unit.
3) Tap the red "pigtail" wire into the "accessory" lead of the vehicle radio harness (also usually red).
4) Tap the black "pigtail" wire into the "ground" lead of the vehicle radio harness (also usually black). Alternatively, the black wire may be terminated with a ring terminal and secured to a metallic ground nearby.

Hope this helps.
