My honda excess has been modified we change the block 54cc,big valve,and carb24 but it run so good will you help me

SOURCE: excessive noise from camshaft after head reconditioning and correct adjustment both standard setting and allowing for head being shaved - to no effect on a daihatsu charade 1991 G100

if its upper noise eg folowers and lifters if they are hydrolic lifters where these replaced are the cams ok if they are manually ajustable tappets these can be ajusted unless the following are goosed again the cams are pitted or mishapen will need new cam shaft the lifter rods are worn or week valve springs
but if they are hydrolic will have to be replaced inc cam shaft hope this makes sence ivan

Dennis, Write up found in scooter guide.net link below.This scooter was restricted to 25mph via a series of restrictions to the variator, ECU, intake and camshaft. 2009 was the last model year for this CHF50 in Canada and the USA, although this scooter was available for a few years after this due to excess inventory from the 2009 crash of the scooter market.
You can have it modified at a shop probably $$.

Why is my atv fouling out the plug?


The big question is it being fouled with too much fuel or is it an excess of oil?

Excess fuel would initially cause dry soot to form on the insulator until the build-up becomes so severe the carbon begins to short out the spark and then plug wetting will occur. If there is a large amount of excess fuel plug wetting will be almost immediate but this will be obvious due to the inevitable bad running.
If removed it will tend to dry in the free air.

An excess of oil will start to wet the plug almost immediately but the plug won't dry in free air.

Possible causes of excess fuel: leaky carb float valve, carb fuel level too high, mixture maladjusted, blocked air filter...

Possible causes of excess oil: oil level too high, piston rings, valve guides, too much oil in 2-stroke mix, faulty crankcase breather...

A further possibility is the wrong heat grade of spark plug.

Have a 1986 honda 350 fourtrax runs and idles like a dream.. After about a minuet of running it will produce white greyish smoke and spit oil out of exhaust pipe with no loss of power. What could cause...


If you haven't over filled it with oil which would cause that problem? chances are its valve stem seals or a stuffed head gasket see if there is oil in the coolant or the dip stick is milky if so head gasket if not valve seals

I have a TMX 155 bike,but so much smoke out of the exhaust


Is your cylinder block been rebore from standard to 0.25? Did you used genuine Honda Parts? Honda's are very fussy on parts and cost more when you buy genuine parts. Recheck the cylinder block if there is excessive scouring marks in the bore and make sure it bored properly by a trusted machinist. Check the valve guides as well and replace the valve seals again if necessary.

P 1401 location


Codes don't have a certain location, a code means a problem has occurred in a system of the electronics of the cars fuel control or emission control system.
P1401 NISSAN - EGR Temperature SensorPossible causes- EGR Temperature Sensor harness is open or shorted
- EGR Temperature Sensor circuit poor electrical connection
- Faulty EGR Temperature Sensor
- Malfunction of EGR function, EGRC-BPT valve or EGRC-solenoid valve
- Blocked EGR passages When is the code detected?An excessively low voltage from the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) temperature sensor is sent to Engine Control Module (ECM) even when engine coolant temperature is low, or an excessively high voltage from the EGR temperature sensor is sent to ECM even when engine coolant temperature is high.
P1401 NISSAN Description The Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) temperature sensor detects temperature changes in the EGR passage way. When the EGR valve opens, hot exhaust gases flow, and the temperature in the passage way changes. The EGR temperature sensor is a thermistor that modifies a voltage signal sent from the Engine Control Module (ECM). This modified signal then returns to the ECM as an input signal. As the temperature increases, EGR temperature sensor resistance decreases.
This sensor is not used to control the engine system. It is used only for the on board diagnosis

Egr valve clogged - will not idle correctly - possible vacuam leak


take EGR valve off and make a full gasket with a coca cola can so it blocks the valve off completely this will eliminate any problems ,did cars years ago have this valve?? no they didnt just block it off and it will run like a dream

2003 Honda CR 250 R oil leaking front of the exhaust pipe

1. Engine oil over filled.
2. Piston rings worn past service specs.
3. Broken piston rings.
4. Piston pin retaining clip failure.
5. Cracked piston.
6. Broken piston ring lands.
7. Hole in the piston.
8. Valve/guide clearance worn past service specs.
9. Worn out valve seals.
10. Crushed or loose valve seal.
11. Gouges in cylinder walls.
12. Cracked cylinder or head.
13. Blown head gasket.
14. Crankcase breather blocked or hose pinched.
