Make sure the rear wheel is in line with the front one and that the chain is running straight. Then check the entire chain run for a stiff link. Either of these things will give the symptoms you describe.

SOURCE: Does Bajaj provides any engine Cowl for Puls as in Apache&Gladiat

as per an OEM part, they did not make cowlings for those, local bike shops can fabricate one, fiber plastic or glass, but of course it may be costly.

SOURCE: my pulsar 180 has noise engine . what to do

It could be a simple timing issue or even bad fuel. Check out your fuel.Mix or straight fuel? If mix, chk oil to fuel ratio. If straght gas, up the octane. Good luck, Ned

SOURCE: Whenever I started my pulsar 180 cc the engine

If it is making a tapping noise at a constant speed the valve lash gap is probably to large. It can however be a sign of a worn rod end bearing also. The valve lash should be .004 for intake and .006 for exhaust. As far as the rod end bearing the only way to measure it easily is to disassemble the lower end of the engine and use plasti-gage (available at any auto parts store) to check the gaps in the rod end to the crankshaft journal clamp up gap. You remove the lower rod end half sector then place the plasti-gage strip across the mating surfaces. The amount that the strip spreads out or does NOT spread out will indicate the actual gap after re-clamping the rod end to the crankshaft. Once you remove the end cap again you will note the plasti-gage indication.

I would start with adjusting the valve tappet lash settings first. More often than not this is the problem. Hopefully you understand the importance of ensuring the adjustments are made when the piston is at TDC. Top dead center.

Thanks for using FixYa.

My bike Pulsar chain and engine makes much more noise how can i solve this problem. while i have serviced it at it's proper time, however it makes much more noise.......and one more problem is that jab...

Usually the noice at this juncture is due to the chain. See if you can tighten the chain or get it replaced, which should make the bike flow smooth.

Bike vibrates a lot and front wheel shakes a lot....low milage......

Hi, Singhshivpra and the usual suspects are:
1. Wheels and or tires unbalanced, worn or damaged.
2. Engine/ transmission/vehicle not aligned properly.
3. Primary chain is badly worn or links are tight as a result of insufficient lubrication or misalignment.
4. Engine to transmission mounting bolts loose.
5. Upper engine mounting bracket loose.
6. Ignition timing incorrect/poorly tuned engine
7. Internal engine problem, flywheels shifted.
8. Broken frame.
