SOURCE: I've got a 1996 Kawasaki

The bike has a bent shift fork. The engine must come out then gets flipped upside down to remove the bottom half of the crankcase. This allows access to the gears and shift forks. The repair is not recommended for the home mechanic. Please rate my answer. Thanks. tombones49_211.gif

Oil leak on kawasaki 250 stockman cant seam to find it

Hi, Bob due to the magnitude of yesterday's solar flare my night and x-ray vision optical devices have become inoperable so you will have to be my eyes, to find the source of your oil leak, start at the point where you see oil and trace its path going up and forward, if there is too much oil present then buy a spray can of engine degreaser apply it to the affected area then rinse off with a pressure wand or garden hose, use compressed air to blow off excess water or just let it drip dry, take your bike for a 5 mile ride and check for the leaks. I cant gear the neutral on my bike Why ?

Either the oil is low in the gear box or the selector is out of adjustment.
Unless you are a bike mechanic, it is a job for the Kawasaki agent.

My son's friend has a kawasaki klx 250 2006 model. You can ride it for about 5 minutes and when you go to return to neutral, the light will not come on and it will not start. I am not sure whether this...

neutral safety switch light must be on to engage starter, sometimes pulling clutch while in gear will let it start.sounds like switch could need checking.does bike roll free even without the neutral light on,in neutral but no light. or is light out because its still in gear?
