From your brief description there could be many reasons for your Bagger not starting, Mine(FLHR 98) had a coil issue once however is the switch on the Bars above the starter button set to run? also which way are you turning the ignition as anti clock just puts on the side lights, pop it one click clockwise and oil battery lights should illuminate.
Finally I hope the battery is fully charged?

Check the wiring within the headlight shell--look for connectors that may be corroded or pulled loose. A little WD-40 will favor connection integrity when sprayed into the connectors, then coupling and uncoupling them several times. Hope this helps!

Sorry but I don't have a wiring diagram that I can send you but I may can offer a bit of help.

Your passing lamps are simply wired into a hot circuit somewhere. A lot of schematics don't show them because they are considered "add ons". They also may have a fuse inline with the "hot" wire. They have only one wire that connects them to the bike with the rest being inside the "light bar" itself. Find the wire coming out of the center of the "light bar" and trace it back to where it hooks up. Sorry but that's the best I can do on this one.

On your front brake light, there is a switch located inside your right hand switch housing where your throttle is located. It is a plunger type switch that is activated when you pull the front brake lever. A simple test of the switch is to loosen the bolts of the master cylinder and slide it towards the center of the handlebars. If the switch is good, the brake light will come on. If the switch is bad, it will not.

To get to the switch, you'll have to take the right hand switch housing apart. First, loosen the throttle cables at the adjusters and then remove the two bolts that hold the switch housing halves together. Carefully open up the switch housing. You will see the small switch in the front of the housing. You'll have to desolder the wires, replace the switch with a new one, and resolder the wires to the new switch.

Reassembly is the reverse of the disassembly. Make sure you slide the master cylinder all the way back against the switch housing or the brake light will stay on constantly. Readjust the throttle cables and check for proper operation. You don't want your throttle sticking.

How to repair cruise control?


Try from Servo control follow connection To I beleive Transmission casing . Look for Burnt wiring / frayed / damaged ...Cruise should maintain speed signal Like speedo cable . Computor management black box / ECM may have direct control so Look for engine bay fuse boxes = 2 under hood . More fuses ++ relays 2 check inside cover is diagram of size + what it controls . A Reset 2 ecm may help by disconnecting Battery - Let sit 30 mins.. Older models + 4 wheel drive Trans has Gear wheel of plastic 2 count revolutions as speedo cable does . If said wheel teeth have worn out then Cruise counts incorrect or fails 2 activate . If you replaced brake pedal Light activation switch then be sure brake Tail lights DO work if not the cruise will fail as brake pedal is part of safety feature to turn it off in emergency disconnect . The signal light Stalk that Turns off L / R signals is Common Item 2 wear out BUT it also controls Turning on cruise or setting ...IF you have Steering wheel on / off / setting control - then issue can be frayed / cut wires due 2 steering wheel movement ....solutions remove wheel BUT 1 st disconnect Air Bag Fuse then wheel and search connections .....Good Luck ...

Crusie control does not work on 2011 gmc sierra 1500 and I've already replaced the switch?


If the switch is replaced,then it can be wiring issue or faulty cruise control board.But as the switch is replaced,get the voltage at the switch tested to confirm the switch is actually receiving voltage.If no voltage received at switch power supply wire then ,apply external 12 volt power to the cruise control switch wire and then see if cruise control comes ON.If yes,then you know wiring is issue.

Hi Elizabeth, always check fuses and bulbs first for broken filaments. Then check the connection at the rear fender wiring harness, inspect for corroded, broken or loose pins. Use a dab of dielectric grease and repair as necessary. Check your brake relay if you have one , check your brake light switches for continuity, some models rear turn signals were single filament bulbs only, no running light. 1992 honda integra horn fuse blows after applying brakes


Honda makes the Integra but it uses the Acura name in the US.
According to the wiring diagram the brake lights and horn are on the same circuit. So I would check the bulbs and sockets for a short.
The brake light switch also involves the cruise control system.

2008 ultra classic brake lights stay on and cruise won't work


Hi Anonymous, this problem is usually cause by the front brake light switch being out of alignment or the button not retracting all the way keeping your brake light on in a closed circuit, depending on your model year. 1996 and earlier models the right handlebar switch housing had to be tight up against the front brake control housing in order for the front brake light switch button to be fully compressed to stop continuity. In 1997 and later models the button was alot shorter and was more of an alignment issue in the switch housing. Rear brake light switches located in the rear brake line TEE can also fail in the closed circuit condition but extremely rare, usually they fail in an open circuit condition where the brake light is not able to activate. Horn does not work when deperess


The caravan horn is a weak one. Locate the horn and disconnect the plug. One wire is hor all the time and it runs off the horn fuse in the undrhood fuse relay panel next to the battery. With a test light verify that the one wire is hot all the time. ( A test light is a tool looks like an ice pick with a clear handle that has a light bulb inside the handle has a wire coming out of it with a clip on the end, connect the clip to a metal ground and anything that electricly powered will light the light bulb in the handle) If it's hot then put the pointer in the other wire ( In the horns plug) and connect the clip of the light to the battery positive, Push the horn button and the light should light, if it does the horn is bad. If not the horn button or the clockspring is bad. The clockspring is the connection beteen the steering whell and the steering collum, It's a coil of ribbon cable that has the wires for the airbag the horn and any buttons for cruise control or radio volume or channels that may be the steering wheel. this cable can break or be overloaded and burn out. Most of the time when they fail the airbag light will be on the the cruise control won't work. The horn button is made into the airbag and seldom fails the fuse is second the horns fail often.

sounds like a bad clockspring. located in steering column under steering wheel, operates airbag, horn cruise etc, it make wire connection possible so the wheel can spin, its a roll of flat wires, that unroll and roll up as steering wheel is truned from left to right,wires break after a while.

Cruise control won't work


make sure all the brake lights work, left/right & the one on top of the liftgate. if any of those are not working Chysler caused the cruise control to fail if any of the brake light dosn't work.
