D: could be a coil, temperature (heat) can cause an open internally. Could also be the cam rotor sensor (more likely) located under the timing plate on the right side crank case (2 rivits or screws). you can cause this to happen for testing with a hair dryer. Start bike cold, and heat item in question and see if it shut's down early. Could possibly be an ECU, but when they fail it's usually done for good.

does it have a fuel pump? It could be going bad.. if not, it could be a bad battery...but since it looks like a 2008 its doubtful and could be just loose or dirty connections in the battery circuit.

The only 2 thing that would cause that(rough running and gas leak) are either a leaky fuel line or a clogged injector.
You need to inspect the bike thoroughly to find the origin of the leak. If it's from the injectors then you need to take it to a shop for a professional cleaning. You can try to take them out and soak them in carburetor cleaning solution.

Running shoes last roughly between 300-500 miles or between 4-6 months. These are rough estimates as there are several factors that contribute to the breakdown of your shoe, like how often you are running, what surface you are running on, and other factors like heat and weight.
