SOURCE: None of the lights work, headlight and turn signals. Dash lights

The circuit breakers on your bike are under the seat- if you have an ohm-meter handy, pull them out one at a time and check them for continuity. If they all check good (meaning reading as a short across the terminals) the problem is elsewhere, and will need to be traced out. If you find a bad breaker that will not reset on it's own, replace it and try your lights again. If they come on momentarily then go out again- or they don't turn on, and you find a tripped breaker again, the problem is almost for sure a hot wire touching the frame, and will turn into a weekend project. Please let me know if this helps!

SOURCE: Just need to verify the

Harley puts these things in so many places on some many different years and models of bikes that it's very difficult to keep up with. Usually on Road Kings. the main circuit breaker is under the seat or the right side cover. But, I can't swear to it.

Good Luck

SOURCE: Brake lights do not work

Check the wires on the rear brake light switch. Follow the metal tube brake line coming out of the rear master cylinder going towards the rear wheel. You'll come to a pressure switch. This is the rear brake light switch. Check to see if the wires are still plugged onto the switch. One set of wires should be "hot" whenever the switch is on. The front brake light switch is simply wired in parallel with this switch.

Where is the breaker located for brakelights on a 1993 electraglide

Hi Anonymous, you either have a burned out bulb or a bad connection in the tail light wiring harness. I believe circuit breakers were located under speedometer housing and fuses behind left side panel. Please visit website below for free wiring diagram:

My 1993 1200 sportster did work fine till I had to lay it down quite hard. after laying up for a couple of months I started to put it back together.first of all I got idiot lights but only click on pushing...

If you've got circuit breakers tripping, you've still got a short somewhere. Pay particular attention to either of the handlebar switch housings. There are quite a number of wires running to each side and any one can easily be pinched and cause a short. I'd focus on the right side with the "Run-Stop" switch in it.

No power to warning and idicaters

The power to your warning and indicator lights is provide by the "lights" circuit breaker under the dash. This same circuit breaker provides power to your headlight. If your headlight is working, the circuit breaker is not tripped. I would suspect that the bulbs are either blown or have come "unplugged". Since each warning and indicator comes from a different location, it's doubtful that you have a short somewhere.

Good Luck
