First, check the cables connecting to your battery. Make sure they're not loose. If they are tight, replace the battery.

Have a tigershark montego deluxe jetski that keeps draining the battery down. not sure what to look for or how to fix

Hello,
The problem that you are experiencing is very common with all motorcycles, scooters, ATVs, Boats , Cars & Trucks. Batteries are used to start the vehicle, then run any accessories. The Alternator & DC Regulator then are used to recharge and maintain the battery's charge level. On the smaller units the alternator coils are built in as part of the motor but they have the DC Voltage regulator placed on the frame of the unit as an external device which frequently goes bad. This is your problem -The battery is not being recharged and the vehicle is running totally off of the battery (when the battery runs out the unit dies). If possible buy a better than the OEM version (higher Amps).

Good Luck!

2004 gp1300r jetski 20 mins riding and overheating

pull out the cat temp sensor and check to see if its bent. if so then its definently your catalist, even if not bent chances are still good it has failed. you need to be sure which light is coming on. does it look like a tube with squigly lines going up?

1998 GP1200 yamaha jet ski won't start

When replacing battery in yamaha GP1200 when attach negative cable the unit seems as wants to turn over the engine while the unit is off and no key in place.. also notice in seconds that the battery terminal on negative side started smoking..actually melt the new battery terminal on negative side..yes, postive was connected to positive. Any ideas what why this would take place??

Have power to the floating cord but tigershark will not run.

My tigershark would start working then stop 20 seconds to 20 minutes later. I found that the power switch was loosing good connection after self check cycle, I turned it on and off rapidly to hopefully clean the contact! I now disconnect and restart by pulling the power cord. I have run two cycles with no problem> I will replace the switch when I get a chance.

Good Luck
