SOURCE: what kind of oil do I use?
you will need one quart or one liter of synthetic high performance suspension fluid [fork oil]. go to any autozone store and they will sell u what u need.

bang the side of the starter with a hammer (dead blow) and hold the start button. sounds like the starter solenoid is frozen. if not check the relay, and the switch, you can check the switch by doing a continuity test on it. good luck ill check back...

If you are not getting the starter to wind after pressing the start switch check these probs.Have you checked the fuses for the ignition switch? Check all fuses. Track the wiring from switch and check all plugs and connections.
Turn ignition on and try clutch starting the bike to see if the motor will run once it is cranked over.
If you need to bump it, make sure all your connections and wiring are all making good contact.
You must conduct a process of ilimination in order to rectify the fault.
