Could also be a weak battery or connection. check all ignition electrical connections (all).

You did not post the year make and model but this sounds like an ignition problem and it could be a lot of things. The most common is the crank shaft sensor.

How would a ignition output signal stop my 1995 honda accord from starting?

The motor turning over & cranking---- is one in the same

You have a :
NO CRANK or a NO START !!!

You checked fuel pressure at the motor
You checked for spark or injector pulse
The battery is good-you tested it

Now tell use about the loss of ignition output

Where is all that coming from--in detail

Have to crank sensor scoped

Is the ignition switch worn out ?

Ligths on polaris 325 magnum wont work, could it be related to the ignition switch?

Motorcycles and ATVs have load sheading relays which switch lights and ancillaries off when the engine is cranked, if the relay has stuck or burnt out the lights will not work. I have had this problem with a BMW K750

Fuel pump cuts in but car wont start

If you have to force the fuel pump on by the relay who is controling ignition? The fuel pump will come on thru the main relay which is next to the fuel pump relay this controls ignition,go back to the begining,on one of the coil leave a 1/4 between the sparkplugwire and the coil crank the engine there should be spark is there is no spark correct for spark and fuel will return when the ECM see a valid RPM signal.so test for spark first. The Main relay is what needs to be look at

1989 Celica GT Convertible Replaced ecu, ignitor, distributor assy, wires, and plugs. Runs great, but intermittently will shut off (no spark) at a light when in drive (cranks, won't start). Battery is...

something is heating up it could be the ignition relay or a bad ignition switch. relay can over heat and stop working this would take some time to cool down again, ignition can do the same some times you can feel the heat on the key when removed.

Car just died on our 1991 Honda bf thinks its the timing belt

I'll tell you four common failures on 90-93 Accords: 1.) The PGM-FI relay goes bad cutting power to the fuel pump. 2.)The distributor ignitor goes bad cutting spark. 3.) The ignition coil goes bad cutting spark also. 4.) The electrical portion of the ignition switch goes bad cutting power. (Quick check: try wiggling the key in a circular motion while its running, if it dies the ign switch is bad.) Note: Watch the distributor rotor while cranking. If the rotor turns while cranking than the t-belt isn't broken.

Jeep GC sputtering and turning off

You have to determine if you have a fuel issue or an Ignition issue. This is simple to do. If the truck only cranks over look at the tachometer. It should flicker. Sometimes this test is inconclusive so you may want to check that one spark plug is firing. If no spark you may have a bad crank sensor or coil.

As for fuel you can put a little in the throttle body and if the car starts you now your not getting fuel. Make sure the fuel pump relay is working. Switch it with another of the same.

The relay is in position 3 from you if your standing on the passenger side. standing.

I have a 93 jeep yj also. I just had an issue where the pump feed from this relay was contacting weakly. If you feed 12v strait to the terminal on the left side (firwall side of the relay this will bypass the relay and supply strait to the fuel pump.
