The data bus has bad connections somewhere or a relay or switch is making poor contact. Could be in the wiring harness or in the ECU, or any one of the other modules. The fact that it gets the indication to the speedo is marginally encouraging.
Try pulling the main fuse under the seat for 30 seconds and plug it back in, see if it clears the code. If it does but the code comes back, either take it to dealer if under warranty or start tracing connections and cleaning tightening them, I'd start at the ECU and work back from there.

Maybe a bad ground Batt to the frame, often the nut that hold the ground cable is rusted., you have to remove the nut and scrape the area that hold this nut ans cable
