Time to get out your test light and start tracking the wire from the power side of the switch, circuit breaker or the blown fuse receiver, when the test light quits lighting you are very close to your short. Fuse shorts out to the heater and turn signal when ignition switch is turned on.

I have found in many cases it was the body control module causeing this. I can only post so big of a picture on here but below is a part of the wiring diagram for the turn signals. as you can see it goes right through the module but I am not sure which exact fuse you are talking about. Feel free to email me at csautomotivecars@att.net with detailed information such as the fuse numbers and I can get wiring diagrams from the numbers and send you bigger pictures of those circuits.

Why is my car trying to start when i attach the

Sounds like the starter solenoid is stuck on, most likely need to replace the starter, sometimes what can be done is tap the solenoid with a wrench or a small hammer and it may come loose, if it stops i would still recommend replacing the starter because it will happen again 9/10 times. Also check the wiring to the starter and make sure the start wire is not shorted or installed improperly. If there is constant voltage at the smaller start signal wire, the problem is somewhere in the wiring or the keyswitch.
