Hope that you put the bearing in correctly and bleed the clutch correctly.. i just got done doing all of that.. definately wasnt much fun... if you remove the rubber flap on the tranny you should be able to see what it looks like.. i also have a slight noise of rubbing coming from mine but i think its because its a new clutch.. hope it works out for ya

Cluth is making a loud screeching noise when changing gear and when starting the car up.

Is it squeeling or a sound like metal to metal as if it squeels, then perhaps your alternator is getting bad or your serp belt, if its the other than perhaps your clutch maybe going start with the clutch flywheel hope that helps

Nissan maxima Manuel makes noise but when I push in clutch it stops so I put a new clutch in and it still makes noise

Throw out bearing may be the problem. Check with your Nissan parts supplier for details on how to replace it.

What is the screeching noise when pressing the clutch pedal?

Gidday, your best bet would be to take it to a mechanic, could be a bearing, the cable, the clutch, some times there is a rubber bush that could get a little sticky at the pedal, try pressing it with the engine off and see if it's still making the sound.

98 accent clutch noise

That may be the clutch release bearing-a part of the clutch assembly inside the bell housing. If that is what is humming, it will be okay for awhile-maybe a few months. Eventually the noise will get louder and become a screeching, drive-you-crazy noise ! Then it will be time to replace it-a small donut-looking device with a sealed bearing inside it. Apparently the bearing is starting to fail. Have a mechanic listen to it to verify if it is the release bearing.

After you start the car, the car is still on neutral once you press the clutch in then the car makes screeching noise. This also happens when changing gears.

Something is wrong within the clutch: either the pressure plate or the bearing are damaged and they will have to be replaced.

I replaced my clutch and throwout barring from the clutch kit. I didn't turn the fly wheel. And the pilot barring didn't go with my model car. So I didn't use it. The car is now put back together, and it...

3 quarts should be enough fluid. Did it make the noise before you replaced the clutch. It sounds like a bearing in the trans. It's not the pilot bearing. A pilot bearing would make noise when you step on the clutch and then the noise would go away when you let out the clutch. Can you describe the noise? It sounds like a bearing in the trans or a problem with the throw out bearing.

My serpintine belt started making a loud screeching noise, and eventually slipped off. I got it put back on but its still making a screeching noise. All of this started after i got the AC compressor fixed....

One of the belt pulleys likely has a bad bearing. watch the pulleys for binding while it's running or remove the belt and check each pulley by hand. AC puts more strain on the belt...if the belt is not new and pulleys check out, (and tensioner is working properly) change the belt.
