You blew a fuse or relay test with a volt meter for open and closed circuit in the relays if they are both open on the ones you check then they are bad if its a fuse look at it and see if the filament is burnt

How to install a horn on the atv

Hi Karla is there an existing horn switch?? If not descide where you want to put the switch and the horn. Then earth one terminal of the horn to the frame. Next find an ignition live ( A wire that gets power only when the ignition switch is on!) add an inline fuze here then run this wire over to the horn switch and from the other side of horn switch to the other terminal on the horn. Enjoy. Regards Jim...

Hi. Could you tell me which fuse controls the electric aerial. Nissan terrano ll 1996 import.

typically the fuze is under the hood. It is a inline fuze attached to the antenna motor.. I may be hidden under the fender, so find the motor for the antenna and follow the wires till you come upon the fuze holder. It comes apart with a twist, be sure to replace with the same value fuze. 2 amp usually. It has been my experience that these fuzes blow because of a short in the wiring or a short in the motor itself. so if your replacement fuze blows right after you put it in, you have more than a fuze problem.

Hi Anonymous, you have a hard/dead short that should be easy to find generally they are the easiest. Time to get out your test light and connect it to the power side of the, circuit breaker or the blown fuse receiver, start by tracking the out bound wire towards the ignition switch and beyond if necessary, when the test light quits lighting you are very close to your short. I have no supply voltage to the coil in my Ford 1988 F250. I have changed the ignition switch and tested the wiring harness. Both have proven not to be the problem. What should I do next? Help?? ...

Hi if you have power supply from the ignition switch to the coil then there is a problem from the switch to the coil. It may have a fusible wire inline with it which maybe broken. The next best thing to do is run a wire from the ignition switch to the coil this will get it going.

It sounds like a short in your ignition switch. I assume you engine will not start? Check your fuses because if it is a short it should have blown a fuse or you would have smelled burning isolation from the wires. If you find a fuse blown it could give you a starting place to start checking. If the ignition fuse is blown it is in the ignition, wiring, starter or ignition key switch.

No 12 volts to ignition coil

on a lot of plymouth acclaims ,there is no fuse marked ignition. what I would do is check for voltage at the ignition switch. if no voltage is going thru it. then the ignition switch is bad. check the wires from switch, and turn key to accy, then check wire. then turn to run and record voltage.

You have a short somewhere. Possible causes, defective interlock switches for the door, shorted capacitor, shorted diode, defective triac. More than likely its one of these.

Sounds like a wiring short somewhere in the powerline from the battery to the amp. I'm guessing the fuze you're refering to is the one inline from the vehicles' battery to the amp. You'll need to find the short, fix it, then replace any blown fuzes before the amp will power up. Just take your time and go over all the wiring to and from the amp. Make sure the battery power cable hasn't shorted against the firewall(use a rubber grommet here), no screws have gone through it while reinstalling interior panels, and that your amps terminal connections aren't grounding out against each other due to stray copper strands.
