SOURCE: do not have rear turn signals but the front

The turn signals are controlled by the turn signal cancelling unit. There is a wiring sub-harness that take the turn signal wires to the rear turn signals. There should be two grey wires with a brown ring on one wire and a violet ring on the other. Trace these wires out and check for sorts or open circuits. Maybe the plug came unplugged. Good Luck

SOURCE: turn signals wont flash but somtimes, bulbs good

If they both come on, front and rear, but won't flash, then the most likely problem is the winker relay. When you flick the turn signal switch and they sometimes flash, that's because you're working the relay repeatedly and jarring it into action. Try a new realy (the box that makes them flash) and you should be fine.

Hi,rear left indicator staying on front left not working, checked bulb, bulb holder, fuses ok.right indicator ok thx

Hi, Jeff before diagnosing any turn signal issue make sure the bulb is good and the light fuse has continuity with a test light. If no turn signals work the cause could be a faulty turn signal module or the connector going to it, look for corroded, loose, or broken pins/sockets. Contact spray cleaner is great for removing corrosion. If your speedometer does not function properly it will have to be fixed first because your turn signal module gets the data from the speedometer for normal turn signal function. If your front turn signals don't work use a test light to check for power and ground at the bulb socket, then start backtracking the wiring through every wire connector to the turn signal switch/button and check for continuity, go all the way back to the fuse if necessary to find the cause of the malfunction. If your rear turn signals don't work check your rear fender wiring harness connector first for corroded, broken, loose pins/sockets, power, and a good ground, (the harness connector is usually located under the seat on the front of the rear fender) then keep tracing the wiring look for obvious harness damage caused by the rear tire. If you still can't find the malfunction backtrack from the rear fender wiring harness connector. If one side does not work you could have a faulty turn signal switch or module check for continuity. Rear hazard flashers don't work 1994 Chevrolet Cavalier

Hazard flasher power comes from the 20A S/LP fuse in the fuse block. It is applied to the hazard flasher in the convenience center. Flasher output is applied to the turn/hazard/headlight SWITCH assembly where activation of the HAZARD switch causes flashing power to be applied to the turn indicators and the turn filaments of the front and rear dual park/turn lights. If replacing the fuse doesn't work, trace the power through the circuit. Check for misssing/disconnected ground wires.

Both rear turn signals have stopped working, front are fine? Is it the switch?

the switch controls both front and rear signal lights.the wires just T off in the harness to go both ways.you don`t say but are the rear bulbs ok.there is 2 filaments in the bulbs one for tail lights and one for signals/brake lights.so the brake lights work if so then the bulbs are good.if not then the bulbs may be the problem.it could also be a wire feed/ground problem that you will have to trace from the sockets back through the system with a test light checking for power and ground.

Turn signal fuses? My front turn signals are not working, the rear ones are flashing quickly. The bulbs are good in the front, which makes me think it might be a fuse issue. I cannot locate which fuse it...

i would look more at the wires for corroded section on power or grond side since they work
in the rear it would not be te fuse they flash faster then normal when a bulb is not working
make sure the bulbs are good and so is the socket (terminals)
