what is your battery voltage? check for loose batter terminals and ground cables. Charge the battery if its low and then see if it will start. once its running test the voltage again. It should put out 13.5-15 volts just off idle. if it doesnt, something is wrong with your charging system.
was fuel left in the carburetors when you parked it your metering jets might be slightly clogged with varnish i dont recomend opening them yourself take it to a professional and next time you park it for an extended period of time close the fuel valve and leave the bike running until the carbs run out of gas "the bike will stop running when this happens"
hi,all japanese bikes are negative ground,i cant remember the last pos earth system i saw but apparently there were a lot of sparks when the battery was hooked up...cheers
use a volt meter to check for voltage at the fuse with the bike
running ....shouldnt be more than about 14.7 volts....if
its 15-17 or higher your voltage regulator is blown and needs
replacing...if its within spec then you probably have a short somewhere
in the power wire to the headlight thats touching ground (the frame)
check your ground wire it may be loose causing your bike not to start take it off the frame clean the frame and connection and reinstall Hope this helps
under the left side of the gas tank you will see i black knob/screw at the end of what looks like a hose. the knob faces the rear of bike. that adjusts the idle. its real easy to find and the only adjustment you can make to the carbs.
